These shoes are awesome. They are easy to get on your feet and are very comfortable. The velcro makes adjusting the shoe, as edema swells the feet, easier to fit.

My husband has problem feet. Having had edema, he now has one foot that’s longer and wider than the other. So, he often has to size up and put an innersole in the shoe for the smaller foot. Finding a pair of shoes that doesn’t rub around his instep, pinch his toes or slide on his heel is ALWAYS an ordeal. In addition to the edema, he has a high instep. Thanks to Amazon’s “Try Before You Buy” program, he was able to try on a variety of sizes in this shoe. Although he came close to finding an acceptable pair in this style, he wasn’t able to get the width just right - the Wide wasn’t wide enough and the X-Wide was too wide. He tried putting several innersoles in an X-Wide but it raised his foot too high inside the shoe. But, he liked the shoe, especially the reinforced layers on the sole of the heel area that helps prevent turning the ankle. He also liked the way the Velcro straps held the foot firmly with no shifting. Although he had to go with another style, he particularly liked 2 features of this one: the adjustable straps and the large opening for inserting the foot even from a standing position. The only negative would be that the shoe doesn’t have enough innersole support to wear for long hours if you have problem feet. But for walking the dog, quick trips to the store and other errands, it's a great shoe that thankfully comes in a variety of sizes and widths.

I have had multiple surgeries for Charcot foot. My feet are an odd shape, very wide, and there are no shoes that fit me well. I’ve even spent $1800 on custom orthotic shoes and they don’t fit, right putting shoes on his always been a struggle until I found these. I love them. They fit great, they are very comfortable, and easy to put on. True to size. Light weight. I am going to buy multiple pairs, so I never have to worry about shoes again.

Not really pretty on the foot but my husband loves these shoes. He is not a diabetic but he does have neuropathic issues. These shoes are wider and more comfortable than any other shoes for him. Plus easy on and easy off!

This shoe is well-designed to fit the actual contour of a normal foot, accounting for toe patterns. It is easy to access and secure by Velcro straps. While particularly beneficial to persons with foot sensitivities, it should be a preference to anyone requiring hours of daily on-foot activity. It appears to be solidly-built, hopefully for a long lifespan of use .

Can not recommend these shoes... While sitting at the computer , my feet are warm and comfortable, but if i stand for any length of time these EE wide shoes cause pain and pinch my feet. However , my main criticism is in the design of the velcro size,which makes it hard to properly place the flap.

These gave my dad the stability he needed for walking and allowed room for swelling feet. However, there was some rubbing near the base of the big toe which caused a sore.

This is the first pair of shoes where my Dad can actually fit his swollen feet without any issues. These were a gift and he was very pleased with the look, the ease and the comfort. Would definitely recommend.

Der Schuh ist leicht und optimal für einen breiten Fuß. Habe eine 1/2 Nr. größer bestellt. Passt sehr gut.Sieht sportlich aus, nicht so klobig wie Verbandsschuhe. Bin zufrieden.
