Pass The Jam, Jim (Red Fox Picture Books)

Loved the story. Laugh out loud funny.

My grandson apparently chuckles over this book repeatedly! Hard to know sometimes what to buy when your miles apart from a growing little boy. So, I'm thrilled to know this one was a good choice.

My daughter loves this book!Was a favourite from the library, but once we found it on here we had to buy it!

My older grandson loved this book when he was younger so I bought a copy for my three year old grandson to enjoy. It's a rhyming book and children soon learn to say the familiar phrases along with you. The illustrations are worth a mention too. They're very detailed so it gives plenty of scope for extra conversations and discussions about the story.

Fun rhyming book

A great rhyming text that captures my toddlers attention. "Pass the jam Jim" is repeated several times and my little girl now joins in which she loves.The illustrations are busy with lots to explore and lots a funny things to spot.This is fast becoming a favourite. A wonderful, quick, fun book for toddlers.

My three year old daughter loved this book! The colours and illustrations had her hooked and she loved having it read to her. The words are easy to read and understand and when I got tired of repeating them for the millionth time, I found my six year old and three year old sat reading it together, whether they were reading it or reciting from memory I still don't know, but it's a great book to get kids interested in reading.

This book has been a great favourite with all my grandchildren, and still buying it for the younger ones. The pictures are wonderful, especially the double page of party food! Lovely text too, they soon start joining in with the rhyming words. Would Definately recommend.

お友達がたくさん集まっての楽しいパーティー。ホステス役の女の子は忙しく支度をしながら、友だちに「ケーキを切って」「お茶を注いで」などあれこれ指示を出します。小さなジム君にも「ジャムを取って」と。おいしそうなお菓子やスナックが画面いっぱいに描きこまれている絵は見ているだけでヨダレがでそう～おいしそう～。さて、ジャムを取ってとたのまれたジム君は...どこで何をやってるんでしょうか？文はホステス役の女の子がひとりでしゃべってるものなんですが、短い文章で言葉遊びになっています。楽しい読み聞かせで、きっとウケると思いますよ！

Meine Tochter kannte das Buch aus dem Kindergarten und so musste ich es für zuhause bestellen! Die Reime sind lustig und die Kinder lachen sich kaputt! Nachdem mein Sohn es mit einer Schere "behandelt" hat, musste ich es nochmal bestellen!

Ich nutze dieses Buch im Zusammenhang mit dem Thema "Breakfast" in Englisch. Meine 3. Klassen liebten die Geschichten und wir spielten sie nach.
