I am looking for a travel backpack that I can use for camping or air travel. The color of the N-purple and its style attracted me most to this backpack.It is more wrinkled in person than pictured in their ads, which looks more structured and smooth. This is a well-constructed large-size backpack with lots of storage. The chest strap is excellent, and there is also a loop on the back of the backpack to fit over the handle of a piece of luggage. It can be carried by hand and will fit over the overhead storage bin or under a seat on a plane. It has a main compartment accessible from the top by a zipper, allowing you to access the inside quickly. And a laptop compartment with independent pockets inside where small items can be stored and easily organized. I love the breathable shoulder straps with foam and mesh design, which makes them easy to carry and great for long trips. The padded back and the shoulder straps can be hidden to switch between a backpack and a hand-carry, which is fantastic. What also makes this unique is the addition of front storage space for carrying items like yoga mats, coats, or other travel items like blankets or small pillows that can buckled for easy access and storage.I love the quality of the materials used in the exterior. It looks sturdy and durable. It is easy to clean and water-resistant, which is a plus, especially outdoors. This is a great travel bag for hiking, weekend trips, airline flights, outdoor activities, and camping. However, the interior materials used are more inexpensive and thinner than what was used on the outer. This will also be great for college backpacks or gym backpacks.Overall, I am happy with this backpack. The price is consistent with the quality and will get the job done. I recommend this to anyone looking for a bag with lots of storage space to easily organize your stuff that can be used for traveling or the outdoors, like camping, with an added feature to buckle essential items like blankets or sports equipment like a small skateboard or even a yoga mat.

Not overstated but still distinct. There are several aspects of this backpack that I simply LOVE.Size - this backpack is borderline luggage. I can pack several full packing cubes inside. Since the packing cubes are rectangular, and, this backpack is top loading and rectangular - I can fit around 6 packing cubes.Pockets - there are many sensible pockets both inside and out. The pockets inside the main compartment can help organize some loose items. There is also a padded laptop sleeve pouch. The outside pockets help store items that I might need quick access to - such as tickets, cell phone chargers, and water bottle.Straps - The shoulder straps have a stowaway pocket. This is useful when you check in the backpack with luggage. The straps will not snag where it shouldn’t. Carrying handle is nice. Luggage passthrough is needed for air travel. There is a pair of buckled straps in front - which are perfect for clipping a jacket, sweatshirt, neck pillow - so the whole kit can securely through the airport security scanner machine or when trekking through the terminals.Compatibility - Since this bag is frameless, it can be rolled up or folded into a small footprint. My thought is, folding this bag into another backpack or luggage, in order to have an extra container to carry home souvenirs, or other cargo, on the way home. Also vice versa, If I want to bring things as gifts to my friends, I can use this bag to go with me - give the gifts then fold up the bag and come home with less gear.Build - This bag is made of fabric that seems fairly strong, rip resistant, thick enough, and tough - It isn’t indestructible but totally sufficient for average use. The zippers, buckles, pockets all work well. The craftsmanship is more than acceptable.I feel the price is excellent for a bag well suited for travel, especially air travel. I would order again, would recommend. 5 stars from me - no apparent flaws.

This is way more than a hiking backpack. It can serve as a suitcase. That's how large it is. I think I could easily fit an extra pair of shoes and several changes of clothing in here, plus a laptop in its special padded compartment, and toiletries. No problem. In the photo my 16" laptop fits in the padded pocket.It's sturdy. The shoulder straps are thick and nicely padded for comfort, plus they can be tucked away into their own pocket if you don't want to use them, or if you want the bag to serve as an airline carry on. The side has its own handle: you can tote it like a small suitcase. The pocket on the other side of the handle, for a water bottle maybe, is lined with some material that is very soft and protective.There's a strap in the back so you can place it over the extended handles of a regular suitcase. I have been researching airline restrictions and I believe this bag will fit the requirements for a carry on. I would think it would also fit under the seat on a plane but only if you don't stuff it too full, because if you do, I think it will stick out too far.I got the lavender and it's very pretty. Water resistant. Pockets galore.I can see this backpack being very handy for all kinds of excursions.I've gotten new ideas for use from the other reviews here!Some reviewers say it's smaller than expected. I found it to be larger than expected.

This seems really well made; the fabric is thick and the zippers move well.I LOVE that I can tuck the backpack straps away completely. The "wings" on the front are cool too, you can clamp a jacket to the front of it, or a travel pillow.It *is* rather weird in how it's made; it's genuinely just a really tall fabric bucket. Nothing folds down for TSA security; there aren't separated major sections.But that also means it can hold a lot, and if you use packing cubes or roll your clothes you could get a month of clothing into it.

So if you have read some of my other reviews, you may know I'm handicapped. I have to use a cane in my right hand and I have my big service dog's leash in my left. So not having enough hands is a common thing for me LOL. I use backpacks/messenger bags, sling bags and crossbody bags all the time to carry my stuff when I leave the house to help me.I have a BIG 17.3 inch HP laptop, which I love. But it is a pain if I need to take it with me and to carry it. I have several "bags", however my laptop does not fit into any of them properly, I can't close the top of them and it's just awkward. So I grabbed this bag as soon as I saw it as it specifically said in the listing it has the specific inside pocket to fit a 17 inch laptop!So I anxiously awaited delivery, and can not be more pleased with it when delivered! It was well sealed in plastic, so perfectly clean and dry. I'm super duper happy it is the most lovely light lavender color! On the pc in the listings it looked more like a cotton candy pink. There are multiple pockets everywhere on this thing to keep you organized! But I just can not have too many pockets to keep my stuff organized, so I also ordered an insert I can use with it, it's not here yet.This has nice feel to the outside material, smooth & soft but the backpack itself has good structure to it. It's not one of those floppy bag type of things. Has good zippers that work smoothly and nicely padded adjustable shoulder straps. There is a hidden "security" zippered pocket on the backside that goes against your body, would be darn near impossible for someone to get it open and pick pocket you while wearing it, it's even more hidden by the shoulder straps, oh and also a strap across the back to secure it to a luggage handle sitting on top of a rolling suitecase. Has another "hidden" grab handle on the back at the top inside the hidden zipper pocket, also the shoulder straps can snap off the bottom back rings and can be placed completely inside a back pocket, makes for a neater appearance and if you are using it more for a work case... There's another adjustable chest strap across the shoulder straps in front to help it be more secure/comfortable for you, helps prevent shifting....There is a good size zippered pocket on the outside front, and I must say I LOVE the two extra outside horizontal adjustable straps! It can again help keep stuff secure but I also love it as it gives me the ability to carry along a thin soft blanket wrapped around a yoga mat for my big guy! (my service dog for those who don't know I have one), his comfort is always a priority with me! Oh also a zipper compartment on the very top of the top closure flap! There's another outside side pocket you could slip an umbrella or bottle of water into too.The outer material is a high quality nylon and says it is water resistant and should be easy to wipe clean if needed. Of course the lighter color this thing is, it's going to show dirt easily! So important to be able to wipe it clean easily.This backpack is pretty roomy inside too, very pleasantly surprised. Could use this for an overnight bag, for work, for school, for the gym.... It has a nice handle on the side to carry it horizontally too. Only time will tell how well this will hold up to use.You know how some things look all wonderful in the listing and you get it and it's a letdown? Not so with this backpack! I just do not think I could be any happier with every aspect of this thing! Well maybe if it was offered in more colors? LOL But I think it would appeal to more people if available in more colors too! I'm perfectly fine with the price of this quality made backpack for all the features/value it provides with the use of it.
