I initially bought this for my heavy winter coats. I didn't have anything in my closet to hang my clothing up, when I moved into my new place. I have a heavy black antique felt coat. Also, I have a red felt coat, suede coat and a leather coat. This held up remarkably well. Once my closet was fixed, I moved the coats into the closet. I now use the hanger rack to hang my silk scarves. I am able to shut my bedroom door with no issue. With the door open, it doesn't get in the way. I am extremely pleased with my purchase

The tops are thin but sturdy. Just what I was looking for because I have a tightly fitting bedroom door and this fits and the door still shuts nicely. I bought this for my husband to hand his hats or belts on instead of laying them across the dresser (since he can't seem to find the hangers I put in the closet). It works really well. The hooks are small so I can see how some people complained about it's holding ability. It works well for me. It's holding a couple of hats, belts and one button shirt.

This unit doesn't offer easily reach items when hung up on a door. (That is unless you are really tall.) So if you are short, it would be OK for items you use occasionally, but if it is something that you use daily the items would be difficult to reach. Buying this was my error, I didn't realize that it was going to be difficult to reach items, or to hang them on the hooks. I gave the thing to my son and he hangs extra hats on the hooks. Not a problem for him to use, he is 6 ft.

I love it. I needed this to keep the broom, mop, etc off of the floor to make some room.One tiny problem is it tends to slip out slightly sometimes. I had to push it against the door to prevent it from falling off. Overall it’s great.

Very durable, solid, nice sliver slate finish. Only thing I don’t like about it is the sharp point of the hooks as it leaves hook marks if items hung up very long. Also have a concern sharpness could poke a hole in lighter cloth items

Purchased this for the utility room door for its minimalist balanced design and function. The thin smooth hooks accommodate small loop tabs on my long garden and grilling gloves, an apron, dustpan/brush, grill brush, fly swatter, and extra dog leash. The part that hangs over the door is barely noticeable when the utility door is closed. Over-the-door hook racks are usually a temporary solution, great for renters. This one will be permanent. Quality product.

The rack fits nicely over my door and seems durable. I can still close my door as if nothing were hung there. In terms of appearance, the finish looks really nice like it's stainless steel. I would recommend this product over most floor coat racks I've seen on Amazon.

I bought this to put on the front door, but my front door is super thick so, I put it on the bathroom door. It works fine to hold my jackets so I don't have to hang them with a hanger.
