For the price, very happy with this product. Easy to fit, drill a small pilot hole and then screw in place (screws not included). I positioned them about six inches in (horizontally) from the end of the top of the cupboard doors as it seemed to work best there. The damper is effective in stopping the doors slamming closed, however, you don;t get the nice swoosh action that some of the more expensive dampers provide. My 4 stars is based on the cheap price and vlaue for money - would have been 5 stars if they had come with screws, as the holes are quire large you need wood screws that have a large head size but are not very long in shaft given that you don't want them to protrude on the other side of the woodwork. Would recommend for the money but go for the more expensive dampers if you want the swooshing motion :)
