It was a hassle getting it over the compressor and wrapping the straps around and through the wires. There isn’t much space to work inside the a/c and it has to be wrapped tightly. But once we got it on, it made a noticeable difference in the noise. It doesn’t silence it but it made it somewhat quieter, a manageable level of noise. I am thrilled with the little bit of noise reduction that it provides. Well worth the money spent.

Fitment was a challenge. As others have said the Velcro placing doesn’t work when you wrap the compressor. Made it work with some zip ties. Haven’t run it yet. Hopeful it quiets the noise.

My AC unit is older and very loud. My AC tech told me to buy this and now I don’t hear the unit from inside my home.

I used this on a 3.5 ton lennox heat pump that didnt have one. It doesnt fit tightly or well. I had to use zip ties. Also didnt seem to lower decibels but by about 5 maybe but the fit is just so loose

The material is easy to handle and install. However, he product is made from light foam inside and does not really have much sound proofing. Had to return it.

Too big for a 3 ton Copeland scroll but it will work. Only a 3 dB decrease. Most of my noise is from the fan. The Velcro doesn’t extend long enough on the lower piece to strap on a thinner compressor like my 3 Ton, You’ll need something else to secure it. This is cheaper than most other sound blankets for compressors on Amazon. You do get what you pay for. The Velcro strap stitching is made pretty poorly and tore slightly on the bottom and there is no insulation on the top pad.

At first glance I did not think this kit would do the job, but I was mistaken. Very satisfied with the purchase.
