I've been using this since 2019. Its really easy to setup and has survived three moves and now resides on my office desk at work. It isn't super tall, so it is a good option for short plants. I've used it to keep salads with root plugs alive longer as well as to regrow new leaves. Now I have some succulents and flowers under it. I used a PAR (photosyntheically active radiation) meter to check how much plant-usable light it is givine off and it is in a range appropriate for most house plants but other plants like lettuce or herbs if it is near a window. Also really great for starting new seeds. I would definetly recommend and am thinking to buy some more now.

Very happy with this grow light. Assembly was super easy (no tools required) and it is the perfect size for my needs. It also has a very nice clean look to it, not cluttered at all. I purchased pots for it separately as the description states these are not included. It also comes with pieces that you can install to hide the chord behind it so it’s not hanging out the side, but I haven’t installed those yet. Overall super happy with the purchase!

One thing we like is that the open sided design allows other plants nearby to benefit form grow lights as well. We have a couple more herbs benefiting from the grow lights right next to the unit. Only criticism is that it should have been taller to begin with. It'll be simple enough to make a new enclosure and mount the lights or even just make taller sides to get some of the taller herbs in, but if the original unit was a couple inches taller to begin with I think it would have been better. The timer function is great and works just as advertised. And the stuff we've planted has been growing really well. For such a small and simple unit, it's working really well! Just wish it was taller.

This is a wonderfully clever product. Someone put a lot of thought into designing it, including the aesthetics. Easy to assemble. Even has clips to hold the power cord out of the way. [Tip: Put the clips on the outside instead of the inside as shown in the instructions - which allows it to be completely out of site in the back.]. Timer works fine. Plants respond very well to the light. Impressive!

Bought this for my room which has very little natural light, so I could keep some succulents and herbs growing in here during the winter. I've only had it for a few days, but my plants haven't complained so far. The material is cheap and doesn't look great, so I've started covering mine in this pretty washi tape (also bought on amazon, link below) and am planning to seal it with a coat of Mod Podge when it's finished. I'll update this review in a few weeks with results!Update: My herbs and succulents didn't have a problem with this light, but they also didn't love it. I've since switched to 100w LED bulbs (there are several available on amazon) in standard metal reflectors and the plants like them a lot better. One bulb and a reflector comes out to about $31, so I'm removing two stars from this product because I just don't feel like the price is worth the payoff. True story! Nothing fake here! I absolutely love this product. I had just a few questions that I wanted to ask the owners of this product directly, instead of amazon customer service, so I contacted them from the card that came with the product. They responded in such a timely manner, within less than a day, and explained and answered all of my questions… And I am so happy with the results! I currently have grown germinated beet seeds, now onto parsley and zucchini. This product is not only efficient, but it creates an amazing growth that is so different to germinating/etc. outdoors, especially in Florida! Can’t wait to look into the other products they sell, as I love and I’m learning more about gardening every day!

It's nice enough looking. But my herbs are not growing well...and I can only assume the issue is the lights

Assembly was straightforward. Panels fit tightly together, so a moderate amount of force is needed to snap the panels together. Has a nice modern look, kind of SpaceLab vibe to it.LEDs are BRIGHT! I had initially wanted to have this on my dining table, but found the light a little obnoxious to look at, so we moved it to the bathroom counter. Makes for a nice nitelight in there.And it does work! I have germinated some tobacco seeds under it, which are photosensitive and require light to sprout. It took the normal number of days for germination, so I wouldn't expect any miracle growth using this light, but it suited my needs perfectly!I am very happy with this product, and definitely would recommend it to others. I may even purchase an additional one in the future.
