This high yield toner cartridge is the official brother brand, so you have confidence that the toner and the cartridge itself is designed to work with your Brother printer. I will only buy the Brother toner and would recommend it to family or anyone. It works perfectly with the multiuse paper that I get from a wholesale club. The print output looks sharp and crisp and it does not smudge. There are generic cartridges that might be cheaper, but then you risk leaks or printer damage. I believe that this Brother toner provides good value for the money.
