If you like this brand, the cost is so much less than buying in a discount store. The brand is great, not clumpy and thick, goes on easily. I touch up a couple times a day. Not smudgy, you won't end up with this mascara under your eyes at the end of the day. I like this mascara so much, I have it on my amazon Subscribe and Save. This also reminds me when to toss that old tube of mascara, which I shouldn't be using any more at a certain point. And again, a few ollars cheaper per tube than going to discount store.

Got it on sale and great price and exactly what I wanted.

I'm certain there is a better mascara out there but I haven't found it. I have always has sparse eyelashes & this fills them out, making them look thicker without clumping. It also does not smear unless you try really hard to make it do so.If you want great length this mascara is not for you, but it does make lashes look very full & holds curl from curling instrument.

I've used CoverGirl LashBlast mascara off and on for years and have been very pleased with it. I'm not a big makeup person, but was looking for a way to enhance my lashes for special occasions and ran across a video of someone using a lash primer. I'd never heard of such a product before, but when I saw this two pack from CG, I decided to give it a try. When the product arrived, I had another (non-CG) mascara in use. I tried the CG primer under that mascara and did not care for the results - too clumpy, too flaky. But when I tried the primer with the CG LashBlast mascara, it was a completely different experience - no clumping, no flaking off. And I did see a difference in "lash impact" when using the primer. I don't use it daily, but for dress up occasions, I definitely recommend this, but also recommend using the two sister products together rather than mixing brands.

My favorite “drugstore” mascara! Easy to use, looks great, no fallout, cheap, and functional! Really like the formals and the applicator.

Overall, I can say I'm satisfied with this mascara itself.I've been using the Maybelline Great Lash but saw great reviews on this one so thought I'd give it a try.As far as mascara goes, I really don't see any difference between this and the Maybelline Great Lash.The brush is shaped differently - - fatter and with shorter silicone bristles than the Maybelline. It took a little practice b/c at first I found that my lashes clumped more with this than with the Maybelline, but using a little lighter hand with this achieves a nice and similar result.It does work as advertised - - - waterproof and smudge proof through hot weather, workouts and even swims.My biggest peeve with this, and the reason I'll be going back to Maybelline Great Lash when I run through this tube, is the shape of the tube and wand. I'm not talking about the brush itself, but the shape of the wand handle that you hold onto while applying the mascara.Am I the only one that finds the conical shape hard to hold onto? Or maybe I just happen to apply my mascara differently than others do.I typically hold onto the wide part of the brush handle to apply to the majority of my lashes, but then I always slide my fingers down to the top part of the handle when I apply to my bottom and outer edge lashes. I cannot tell you how many times the brush has squirted out of my fingers when I adjust my hold onto it.The conical shape that narrows toward the end make it difficult to hold onto. This is made worse because the plastic is sort of micro-textured and doesn't really allow a nice finger hold at the narrow end.Silly to judge a mascara on the packaging, but the Maybelline gives me the same result without the dropsies and mess. Sorry CoverGirl.

This Cover Girl mascara never disappoints. I've been using it too many years to count and I never get clumpy,gooey lashes like I have from some $28 designer brands. I like the black brown because I have very fair skin and blue eyes. The black brown really makes my eyes pop. At this awesome price point you really should give CG Lash Blast a try
