The Sony FX3 is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made for video production. It blends the professional power of Sony’s Cinema Line with the portability of a mirrorless camera, and it truly delivers. The 12.1MP Full-Frame Exmor R BSI Sensor is outstanding in low light—footage is clean, sharp, and cinematic even in challenging conditions. Colors look natural and rich, and the dynamic range gives me so much flexibility in post-production. What I really appreciate is the cinema-focused design: top handle with XLR inputs, intuitive button layout, and fan cooling so it can record long sessions without overheating. The compact form factor makes it perfect for handheld shooting, gimbals, and travel—yet it still feels like a true cinema camera. Remember! You need a lens too.
Literally the best camera I’ve ever had. You do have to get a lens with the camera to actually see something. I thought it was like the ZV1F which you can get an image without a lens.

Multiple buttons DO NOT work
bought this camera for my company and updated the software because the camera was not functioning. It is currently being shipped to the Sony repair shop because it will not record and multiple buttons on the camera do not work.
