They definitely work!
These outlet insulators seem to work well. I installed them on all the interior outlets on exterior walls and definitely noticed a difference on the draftier ones. I like their versatility โ they fit multiple types of electrical receptacles, which makes them useful throughout the house. The pads are easy to install and stay in place, and they feel sturdy enough to last. A simple, effective way to reduce drafts and improve comfort.

Good
Works perfectly, good insulation and thickness compared to the ones Im replacing. Sturdy yet easy to pop out the preferred sections.

Easy, effective, careful when punching out your shapes tho.
My house was built in 1896 and although I did a bunch of weatherization on the house this past summer, I didn't think to address these outlets and we just had a real cold snap. I was standing near one and thought "God what is that draft!" and realized it was coming from the outlet. Went to Google for solutions and discovered these exist. Now obviously this isn't going to replace working some actual insulation on the wall where necessary but as a cheap quick fix these are kind of a miracle worker. Although the wall itself is still cold and I will have to add some new insulation there at some point when I have the money, this has fixed the fairly intense draft. Super easy to install, no need to shut off the electricity or anything but obviously be careful - just punch out the shape you need, pop off the outlet cover, stick one of those on and screw the outlet cover back on. Only complaint is that sometimes extra pieces around the corners can come out when you are trying to punch out the shape you need (they are perforated) which can obviously reduce its effectiveness since you will have a small hole in the sealer that should be covered, so I wasted a couple in the process.

Perfect solution at a great price
I recently did some work on an outlet in my house while I had the whole house fan on. The outlet was on an outside wall and while I had the cover off I noticed a very substantial amount of cool air flowing into the house from the wall. It was apparent I needed an easy solution since I wasn't going to remove the outlet box to insulate the inside of the wall more. I'd previously used form outlet seals so I check Amazon and found this produce. I'm very pleased with the item. For a reasonable price I got 50 seals that are cleverly stamped to allow punching out a seal for outlets or a variety of switch or outlet configurations. I've tried a couple since purchase and they fit well, were thick enough and should last forever. I'd recommend.

Outlet insulators
Fit perfectly. Easy to install. I've only used it in one location so far but will be placing them in every outlet.
