Many defects and negligent quality control
I am really disappointed with the quality and unreliability of such a high end faucet from a formerly reputable company. The things I like:1.Really good design aesthetics2. The three spray modes, particularly the "berry washing" gently and volume3. Spray hose smooth and reliable retractable design that prevents from kinking on under sink components (pipes, etc). The bad:1. missing parts. I've had to return three of these due to missing parts, key components. Quality assurance is lacking here and must be addressed.2. Pitiful and incompetent documentation. Does not even include a parts list, with names of components. This Results in not knowing what parts should be in the box and later referenced to in the poorly written installation instructions.3. The VERY poor quality of the design and parts tolerance of the electro-mechanical operation of the solenoid control valve. This causes unreliable and unpredictable operation, often to the point of just stops working, or on/off oscillation. The cause of issue is primarily caused by the defective solenoid open/close position control, on the white bypass valve control that is used to switch the valve from manual (power loss etc) or touchless operation.Specifically the issue is that the inside valve plastics are misaligned and are stuck causing the actuator to freeze up which requires rotation of the manual bypass (used during power loss) to "free up" internal components. You have to open and close (clockwise/counter clockwise) the manual bypass valve several times, well beyond the open/close limits positions with a fair amount of force to enable smooth operation, and to locate the very specific position to allow the solenoid to operate in touchless mode that is actuated by the touch sensor. Its a very challenging weak link in the design. The troubleshooting suggestions in the installation manual do not cover this issueThis defect has caused literally days and weeks of my time too diagnose and work with customer technical support who has no idea this is the issue and keeps sending me new control panel which in fact is not the issue at all. The overly complicated design coupled with a very poor quality components in the solenoid make this a very frustrating product to install and operate, and very disappointing.Don't waste your money on this touchless operation model of this faucet. If you want this faucet for the reasons I like it (stated above) then purchase the manual operating model with no electronic components. Kohler has missed the mark on this, and is in the plumbing business, not electronics, and it shows. I hope Kohler cares enough pay attention to customer reviews and feedback to address these sub standard design and quality control issues. Very disappointing.

Absolutely love this faucet
It is a bit pricey but looking at it and after using it for a couple of weeks, definitely worth the money. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but also very functional with the 3 different types of output.

It could have been great
Part of our kitchen remodel included this faucet. I must say that anything that is appliance related than can work with Alexa and WiFi usually gets a pass from me but...The faucet is HUGE. For us that is “kind of” ok but the arch of the faucet puts it past the center of the sink so when you angle the sprayer, water goes everywhere. Not great. Maybe if it was over a bathtub? The WiFi connection wasn’t too bad but the group that wrote and abandoned the app should never build another public app again. It’s the worst. Rarely works and when it does, it doesn’t do much of anything.Connection to Alexa? Has worked 4 times since we bought it. Gave up. Here is an example of what you must say: “Alexa, ask kohler to dispense one cup of water from kitchen faucet” to which she seems to always reply “please open the Kohler app and login to continue”. Ugh. What a letdown. When you do get it to dispense “one cup of water” the good news is that it consistently dispenses 1.25 cups of water so hopefully that is what you wanted.Waving your hand under the arch turns it on and off every time. That is really cool! If you have steam coming from inside the sink it will turn off the water as it thinks you “waved”. Really? ... really???The look is cool and after several months we are still getting used to it. The gimmicks are worthless in my opinion but if you are looking for a big chrome faucet, it sure does make a statement. Too bad that statement is “sorry, faucet not connected”
