My husband used these when we had so much rain and the yard was all muddy. They kept his feet and pants dry. These rubber boots are great! First of all, the sizing was spot on. So make sure you get the correct size. I, for example, am a size 8.5 and the Large fits me precise.They're easy and comfortable to walk in. I didn't feel like there was any slippage due to the rubber soles. And of course, they kept my feet dry in the rain!These boots collapse and fold well enough to be able to easily travel with them and not take a lot of space in luggage. I'll be buying another pair for the hubby!

Got these to do chores around the house when it’s raining or muddy outside.They feel like you just put on waders. The material is like the heavy duty rain jackets and the souls are made of sturdy thick rubber material and have good traction. Just like the description the zipper does have a large opening, but depending on the shoe it’s easy or hard to slip on or off. I found that my sneakers that don’t have much traction on the soul were the easiest. I ordered an XL and my shoe size is 8.5 and it was just right. I have an extra inch of wiggle room. The bootie is high and the elastic to hold it up does the job well, I tucked my jeans in the boot and the top stayed in place.I wasn’t in deep water so I can’t say if the water did not get in. I do believe the foot will stray dry because of the double layer on the zipper area. Walking in the rain and being in the mud the boots kept me dry.I also like that it comes in a bag to store away without losing a bootie.

I operate a fleet of small canoe-like boats that has to be pumped out if it rains too much, and often I have to go out IN the rain to do the pumping. Invariably when that happens, while I wear a raincoat that covers me from head to knee, my lower legs and shoes get completely drenched. I got a x-large size and wear a 8.5 size shoe as you can see a little too big. I did have however get the bigger size then the chart recommended just incase I am wearing boots that need to keep clean.I don’t no recommend for every day use the soul of the shoe is thin. I have them in my truck incase of weather conditions get bad. They are water proof up to the top of the boot. The elastic band at the top kept the boot in place and didn’t slip down when walking.
