Penthouse North

Anybody that says this movie was less than mediocre is crazy. I don't know what people expect of movies these days after millions have been made and many, MANY are redundant. They've never done a movie like this before and I can most guarantee there won't be a Blindsided 2, 3 or 4 like everything else out there. I thought it was very well written, good story line, great acting and suspenseful. A gripping thriller and I enjoyed it very much. I ordered it months ago when it was still only available oversea's and called "Penthouse North" - I couldn't watch it on my DVD player, only on my laptop and remember watching it while waiting for a severely delayed flight for a business trip. I couldn't wait to see if it would become available on regular DVD and was pleased when it did. This is a must see for every movie fan who enjoy suspense/thriller movies. You won't be disappointed!

This was an exciting thriller that had a few twists. I always enjoy Michael Keaton and this film was another vehicle that showcased his incredible talent. I am dating myself, but this one reminded me of "Wait Until Dark". The violence seemed over the top, but I understand the reasons why it was deemed necessary. Overall, this was a heart pounding ride.

Michelle Monahan was good playing a blind woman without being too extreme about it. But she did showmore emotion in this movie than others I've seen her in. Michael Keaton always plays a creepy bad guy well. I thought Blindsided was a good movie that held my interest until the end.

I loved this movie when I saw it on Lifetime, but I could not find it anywhere except for a ridiculously overpriced option. So, I waited, and I am so happy it was finally released for mass distribution.

I watched this movie under another name ---BLINSIDED, on Netflix. The video I ordered from Amazon was REGION 0,so I couldn't watch it in US. Rats! But the movie was GREAT! LOVE MICHAEL KEATON!

I love Michael Keaton and he did not disappoint in this movie. Thriller from beginning to end! You will never know where the diamonds were hidden!

Tried to watch after about one month of receiving it but it wouldn’t play. Would love to get my money back!

This was an extremely disappointing DVD. It was the wrong region so I could not play the movie on anything. The region was not mentioned by the seller prior to purchasing the DVD.

Bought this movie in dvd for my mom- I had watched it in tv, but I couldnt get the disk to play in my dvd , it said something about restricted. Perhaps it was for another country ? Does anyone know where I can find a copy that will play ?Awesome movie!

Uhh ... This is the same movie as "Blindsided" Amazon should have noted this as I now have 2 copies of the same movie.

I purchased this DVD because it's a five stars in my eye as well as in my wife. The story is with Michelle Monaghan and Micheal Keaton. The story keeps the suspense on and us wandering till the very end of the movie.

The main female character in this movie does very well considering she is supposed to be totally blind as she takes on two baddies single handed and I don't think in reality she would be able to do all this.As they say it's only a movie watch it and see for yourself.
