Sport Berkey Water Filter Bottle Ideal for Off-Grid, Emergencies, Hiking, Camping, Traveling and Everyday Use at Home, Work or School

This was a gift for my husband who travels for his job. He loves it. You just have to be careful because it leaks a little. That seems to be the general consensus from all Sport owners. But, the flavor of the water is fabulous and worth it. Berkey just needs to come up with a bigger sport bottle with a better lid system.

I bought this travel water bottle for my trip to Canada recently, as I wanted clean and purified water from where ever I could fill up my bottle.The water from it was super clean tasting and looking every time!I have known about the Burkey home water filtration systems for awhile now, but had no idea they offered these.I won’t travel without it!

I didn't look at the reviews before buying .I just went off a recommendation..The straw is pinched and you can barely get water through it..Also ,the sides leak..Aside from both of the other complaints ,the water tastes horrible .I do not recommend .

I bought this bottle because I love our big berkey filter and wanted a portable version for bike rides and traveling. The water tastes great, just like out of the big filter, but the bottle isn’t functional for on the go. It leaks when it’s not perfectly upright, and whenever there’s a change in elevation (and therefore pressure). Mine also started growing mold, but that’s probably due to where I current live in a hot and humid region of southern Spain, where everything gets moldy. If you live somewhere similar then keep that in mind … our big berkey has never grown mold, but the bottle has, even though I clean it, dry it and store it open.

Love my Berkey travel water bottle. I have used it at work and for travel. I will say however that I find replacing the filter isn't always the easiest. It is lightweight and cost worthy!

I loveee Berkey and the fact that they have a portable water bottle is truly amazing. It’s super easy to use and just requires a little bit more suction than other non Berkey water bottles. I used it on my trip to Seattle a couple months ago and it was so handy for the airplane and our long hikes. I dunked it in the river and the water tasted so clean and refreshing. Plus, there’s something pretty cool about getting water straight from Mother Nature herself and not having to worry about harmful bacteria. When you’re done with it just make sure you let it dry completely before you store it away so it lasts longer. It’s worth the purchase and the experience :)

Purchased for a relative. The top leaked and the built in straw crimps when closed and doesn’t regain its shape when reopened which makes it tough to sip water. Not recommended

The first time I bought a Berkey Sport Water bottle, I bought 4 of them, for my husband, myself, and our two kids to take to Spain for my daughters wedding. We all drink filtered water, and who wants to have to buy, and carry water water, or worry about even finding it in another country? Any sink, or fountain, or even lake! is a filtered water source when you own a Berkey. It makes life so much easier, and the water tastes amazing. Once our trip was over, we just used it here at home instead of buying bottled water. Much better for our environment, first of all, and very convenient for all the things we like to do outside as well, especially hiking, camping, and kayaking. If I run out of water while I'm kayaking, I can just dip into the lake with my Berkey.....Presto!! Fresh, clean, water! Also, for you outdoor enthusiasts, did you know that most of the portable water filter systems do NOT filter out pharmaceuticals? Nope, not even the most popular, Sawyer Squeeze. So I feel really lucky to have found Berkey, and I've turned so many people on to them. If you're considering this purchase, you won't be sorry... P.S. I have a wedding day picture of my daughter getting ready to be married in Spain, and there's a Berkey Sports bottle in the foreground. I should probably contact the company with that picture. :)
