For all those that are wondering what you might use these for. They are for a single LED light. I ordered a blue seas remote indicator that was wired for 120v application. simply cut off that resistor and solder this 1k ohm resist and you have an LED that will work on 12v dc. Used for my boat.

Fool your KNOCK SENSOR
After using 2-knock sensors from A/Z, they failed. This would require to AGAIN remove upper plenum and costly to do so. The engine is NOT knocking, so this 100K resistor wired to replace the 2 wires going to knock sensors will FOOL engine computer into thinking NO KNOCK HEARD. Put check engine light OUT. Nice to have NO check engine light on in cluster
