I hesitated for ages before finally buying them. Was close to spending 3x the amount to make sure I had something I loved, that would last.Fit is true to size and modern, meaning they do not flare out at the bottom, even with my skinny legs they are great.Material is thick and feels like good quality, this will slow drying down but hopefully means they last longer.One zip pocket on the right cheek, two good size ordinary pockets both with small pocket pouches in, assume for loose change or a key, to hold more securely.The liner is good, fits well making them comfortable.Will be ordering more of these fo sho!

Well, they are pretty cool shorts.These maamgic "Star" shorts are a nice knockoff version of the Chubbies Danger Zones. maamgic? Sounds like they were deciding on a company name after 60 cans of Pabst.Bottom line - the maamgic shorts are pretty comfortable. Even though they're short, the inner liner (like a pair of boxer briefs) and shell of the shorts both STRETCH which doesn't restrict movement. Honestly, I was super surprised how comfortable they are. Just the right about of stretch that still feels secure in the pool, in the ocean, and on runs. And the polyester material is very smooth. They describe it as buttery. I agree. Nice touch adding the American Flag theme underneath...wait they stole that idea.Sizing. That's the tough thing about Chinese brands. Demographics and models for sizing are different in each country. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs with a 33 inch waist. No beer gut ironically with my beer choice. And, on their listing they say I should be a Large. But, I went with customer reviews advising others to order normally, and I did. The size Medium fit great around the waist - just like standard US sizing. Only thing that is snug is around the hips but the stretch helps with comfort. I don't think the sizing is off on the hips, I think it's just better described as slim fit. If you wear slim fit, order normally.I use my maamgic shorts (maybe they tried to say "magic" while eating peanut butter) 3 times a week for running, and I just hop in the pool right after. No need to change. Then just wring them out, flip out the inner shorts, and let it try overnight.Durability? I washed them a few times already, and they've survived. Don't see any fading from the chlorine in the pool and I haven't popped any seams. For just a little over $30 - it's a good deal for 2-in-1 athletic shorts when compared to any major brand. Sure, I'll buy more.

I got a couple different pairs for my boys 16 and 18 for sports and casual wear and they look awesome. Quality is really really good and they are true size and they have a nice under garment to them.The boys love them

Love the fit, even if I should have probably ordered L instead of XL, but since I seem to be between sizes it's no big deal. Very comfortable, the fabric feels more robust than some of my other shorts (UA I'm looking at you). Would be nice to have a phone pocket on the inner short, but not a deal breaker. Love the pattern (exterior and interior). Nice detail having a hard plastic tip on the drawstring. Taking off one star due to the lack of a pocket on the compression shorts, and the fabric, although more robust, is a bit heavier than expected. Still a great pair of shorts for running, hiking, working out, etc.

These fit me well and are true to size. The color was as expected.

They looked a little big when they arrived, but they actually fit perfectly to size. Better price!

I was reading the reviews and it made me kind of have second thoughts but went a head anyway and these are the best shorts I’ve owned. Way better than i expected. Great quality and fit. I’d you are on the fence i would say do it.

I bought these shorts because I liked the Nike shorts with the inner lining. When I put them on, my fiancés first impression is that they were board shorts for swimming. The outer material is noisy, when you move around. I liken the sound to a crinkly garbage bag.It's funny how they try to make these shorts look cool in all the pictures, but these are very lackluster. It's like a Bic Mac photo vs. reality. I like them enough to wear them around the house, but these are definitely not my favorite pair.
