COBI Historical Collection R.M.S. Titanic

I was nervous reading all the good and bad reviews but this is of great quality. My 9 yo became obsessed with Titanic last year and loves legos so it made sense to purchase this product. I hesitated but decided to finally buy this for Christmas and I was not disappointed. All the pieces were there and the directions were easy enough for him to follow. It took a couple of hours to complete and has stayed together without any issues. He even puts it in the bathtub to sink it. The details are perfect as he notices those things with all the research he has done. I highly recommend this product.

Very good model. Compatible with LEGO.The cable (thread) is easy to get loose when kids are playing but overall very happy with the boat. Price is much cheaper than lego and the bricks are made well too.The instruction needs to be a bit more clear with 2x10 or 2x8 parts. Lots of time I had to count base on the picture in the instruction to make sure I get the right one. It will be nice to label it if one dimension is more than 8. Definitely it needs adult's help to assemble for younger graders.

It’s a nice model of Titanic - one of the few. You can assemble like LEGO. Quality is quite good. I bout it for our 5 year old boy. It was too complicated to assemble for him, so his elder brother helped. Bear in mind - too complex for kids below 6. But the little brother enjoys playing a lot!

I bought this for my seven year old grandson for Christmas. He is obsessed with the Titanic. He loves it. The instructions were simple to follow, especially if you have built lego sets before. The ship itself is pretty sturdy once it is finished. I did have to look at the pictures on the box to figure out how the stickers went on. There were no instructions for the stickers. Other than that I am happy with my purchase. I would recommend it for young Titanic lovers.

This was a easy build. All the parts were in the sealed box. The box came with instructions, stickers, to large bags marked 1 and 2, then a few loose parts. The Titanic building system was not designed to float. With a few modifications and sealing all the cracks and openings and removing the wheels, and adding weight in haul, it might float. No missing parts. The bricks can be used with Lego Brand toys and sets.Just pay attention to the instructions and colors of the bricks. The color of the white and tan bricks look similar in the instructions. One sticker needs to be placed on the below the bridge area before you build above the area or you will have to disassemble to place the sticker of doors and windows. Only one green brick was shorter than described in the instructions. This part is in the haul and not a main support, but it still works for support of the parts above it.Had to use the box to apply the stickers. There were a few printed parts and matching stickers if you want to make the parts better looking.I would say this would make a great gift.Minifigure not included.

I was concerned about getting this after reading the reviews about missing pieces and difficult instructions. It was a Santa gift for my 7yoa so both of these would have been bad come Christmas morning. We did not have any missing pieces and they went together tighter then many of his LEGO sets do, as proof we had to use needle nose players to switch out a couple pieces once they were set. As for the instructions, they do something I wish LEGO did which is to make the blocks you’ve already placed white so you can see clearly where the next colored blocks go. Very easy to follow. The pieces come in 2 big bags with smaller bags inside. We used two bowls, one for small pieces and one for big. I picked out the next pieces needed and my son assembled and we were done in 4 hours with a fantastic ship my son totally loves!! For the titanic fanatics this is a must have! (The smaller one is another plastic model he got from Santa to, the big one is the COBI)

I love Lego stuff and history.. This was an easy build if you have some experience with the Lego.. Cobi does a good job with the directions, but not as good as Lego.. It was hard to get the lines on, so I pulled them tight, and used a bit of hot glue.. That did the trick.. The stickers for the windows are not real easy.. Figure out where each one goes before you're ready to place it on.. Use the box as a guide.. You will need to count the windows on the box to figure which ones go where.. It was a fun build.. Oh yeah, it does look cool..

Since COBI Historical Collection R.M.S. Titanic has 600 parts it was quite difficult for my 5-year-old to built it by himself so we helped him. It is as good as lego in terms of quality, very beautiful and sturdy. My son loves it. Usually, we buy lego for our kid but the Lego Titanic costs $20 more and we decided to buy Cobi toys. Honestly, now, I think that lego is overpriced since Cobi has a great quality to its product too and the same instructions - so pleased.

Llegó completo y sellado, mi hijo y yo pudimos armar conforme al instructivo, te desafía con piezas de ensamble muy exactas las cuales pueden confundirte, pero al final fue un éxito su ensamble, aún lo conservamos!

J'ai acheté ce titanic pour ma fille de 11 ans et elle a adoré. Des heures de montage, avec l'aide de son papi. POur un enfant de 11 ans tout seul c'est encore un peu difficile. Quand on est habitué aux notices de montage de légo, il faut se concentrer pour comprendre celle-ci mais rien d'insurmontable. Les pièces sont parfaitement compatibles avec les vrais légos, et heureusement car on a du piocher dans les réserves pour quelques pièces qui manquaient ( très peu)Les haubans et les autocollants étaient assez difficiles à fixer mais ça fait partie du plaisir!!Le résultat est vraiment beau.

È davvero molto bello. I pezzi sono di qualità. Il montaggio è stato uno spasso e seguendo le istruzioni, non risulta difficile; occorre solo prestare molta attenzione, in quanto ci sono dei pezzi quasi uguali (ad esempio ci sono quelli lisci da tutti i lati e quelli che hanno degli spazi vuoti) e se non ti accorgi delle piccole differenze devi smontarli e rimontare quelli giusti. L'unica nota è per la casa costruttrice: potrebbe inserire all'interno della scatola i ricambi delle eliche, in quanto, dato che si montano all'inizio, mentre le ruote si montano alla fine, strisciano sul piano di lavoro, le pale si lesionano e si spezzano. Quindi, credo che sia meglio metterle alla fine per evitare che si rovinino durante il montaggio. Detto questo consiglio vivamente l'acquisto. Mio figlio è contentissimo.

The boat is relatively easy to build, but the guide could be more precised on some points. The set is complete, only one brick of the wrong colour, can survive with it, as it is barely noticeable. The size is rather big and my son enjoys playing with it. I think it is the best titanic made of bricks on the market. If you are looking for one, I can only recommend this set.
