Easy to use
I was able to change to this presser foot and start hemming in under a minute. It was very easy to use and allowed me to hem a new tablecloth beautifully.

Very well made, but need to practice
I purchased these, because the other set I have create much smaller hems. These presser feet are very good quality – better than the other two smaller sizes I have. And, a huge bonus, they work great on my Viking Emerald 116 shank rather than having to change out to a shank that accepts bottom snap in presser feet. I do have a bottom snap in adapter shank, and I verified that these presser feet work for those types of shanks as well, which is a bonus. Some people are commenting that there are no instructions: there are a couple of snapshots in the description of this item that you can print off. Also, Madamsew has a video you can watch for their similar items. Regardless, these types of presser feet are quite tricky to get the hang of, regardless of which company manufactures them. But once you figure it out, you will love them. Give yourself ample time to practice on spare material until you feel comfortable. It might take multiple tries, and even coming back to it on a different day can help. I also use these for simple flat hems to avoid ironing first. Works great. Also, I have used them off the sewing machine to create pinned flat hems on thick outdoor material that cannot be ironed.truly a life-saver. Update: my needle adjusts only to the left. These presser feet do not adjust much to the right, and I was running off the edge if not eagle-eyeing the fabric. My wonderful husband was able to use his Dremel to grind off a bit of the edge, so I can adjust the feet more. Now, I can get the needle farther from the left edge. If you have a machine that will adjust the needle to the right, you will be fine. That being said, I suspect any similar presser feet have the same issue.

It works well on soft fabrics.
It's good. But does not work on heavy fabrics like jeans.

Machine feet
They are really good. Fits perfectly and does its job. My hems now look professional

Cumbersome
It is faster and better to learn how to do the work without these type of devices.

Worked excellant for what I used it for.
I liked the hemmer because it made my sewing project easier. I am new to sewing and I wanted to make some pot holders. I did a little adjustments on the hemmer and that made it work easier and sew a straight line on the binding strip on the outer edge of the pot holder.I was frustrated that I could not sew a straight line on the outer binding. Once I made some adjustments Icould not sew a straight line. After Imade my adjustments I was able to sew a straight line and keep the binding pushed up tight against the pot holder material. I will now need to get one that has not been altered so I will have it when I need it. I am still learning to sew.

Excellent product, made as well as can be expected.
These things are as good as any other feet, maybe better. But I'm a new seamstress and I'm just learning. So there's a real learning curve for these things. Quality, shipping time, company, all terrific. I just suck at the moment.
