Living in the country, we spend a lot of time outdoors. Spring and fall are particularly rainy and one ends up wearing a raincoat quite often for protection for the wind and precipitation. My wife was in need of a new raincoat, so I ordered this Camel Crown Women's jacket.Upon opening the package, we were pleasantly surprised. This is very attractive raingear. It's sleek, tailored and stylish looking. I ordered the black coat which has red zipper pulls. Just adding at touch of red gives the garment a sportier appearance. My wife suggested that I order a large because she likes to layer underneath her coats. It is a touch oversized on her but will work well with layered clothing underneath. The coat slid on easily and felt extremely comfortable with no pulling or gathering. This jacket has many great features. The hood is large and roomy. You can tighten it up using the two adjustable drawstring cords. The stand up collar keeps your neck protected and warm. There is a band on the inside of the collar which is made up of a felt-like material. This strip is very soft to the touch and feels extra nice against your neck. On the inside of the coat, left breast area, there is a vertical zipper with enough space to hold your phone, keys or a small wallet. Because it is found on the inside of the jacket, there is an extra layer of protection from the rain. There are 4 zippered pockets and each one is quite roomy. Quality zippers are used and they glide along the teeth (or elements) effortlessly. It's nice to have the zipper pulls for easy access to each pocket. The front zipper that's situated along the middle of the coat has a protective tab which runs the length of it. This tab will keep the rain from entering the front part of your rain jacket. There is also a reverse zipper guard located on the area where the zipper meets your neck, which serves the same purpose. No need to worry about rain entering your cuff area, as there are Velcro strips to bind the cuffs to your desired tightness. The back of the coat has a sloping hem to keep your backside extra dry.This slicker is super versatile. It is wind-proof, water-proof and warm. I dribbled some water on the coat to see if it would repel rain. The water beaded up immediately and dripped right off the jacket. Not a drop permeated the material.Wear this sharp-looking raincoat while participating in many outdoor activities such as hiking, walking, boating, fishing and running. It will be a great addition to any outerwear wardrobe.

My jacket color choice was black and I ordered a large. A large size fits great on me alone but also leaves plenty of room for layers. I work in an office that is not warm enough in the winter, and too much air conditioning in the summer so I wear a couple of shirts and sometimes a sweater or a sweatshirt over that. This jacket easily accommodates that. There are four pockets, three external and one internal, all with zippers to keep your things in, so my cell phone, keys, lip gloss and other various things fit nicely into the pockets and stay put. The pockets are finished very nicely with the zipper head tucked neatly inside. The inside zipper has finished material over it, to keep it looking nice, but also to protect other clothes from the zipper snagging the shirt or sweater you are wearing. I like having my hood accessible, but you can roll it up and tuck it into the collar if you want. The higher collar not only serves to hold the hood but nicely keeps you dry in the rain. The sleeves Velcro to your desired tightness. The real test was when I was out in the rain and wind, which pretty much sums up the weather here almost 9 months out of the year here. The coat was water proof, my hood stayed on, kept my glasses dry and did not drip down my neck despite the wind, and the bonus -it kept me warm! I can easily give this coat five stars for looks, quality, and functionality.

I ordered this shell jacket in size xl. I really should have ordered this in size large and it would have fit me better, so it is a bit large on me. There are pockets on each side and one chest pocket. The hood is attached but it can be folded up and tucked into the back of the collar. The waist is adjustable with cords and the sleeves have adjustable velcro straps. Very nice windproof shell jacket. Not sure if it is waterproof as described as I have not been able to test that out yet. Overall pleased with this jacket.

A few weeks back the zipper broke on a jacket I had gotten from a really nice retailer and I was super disappointed considering how much I paid for the jacket. I was looking for something light but also warm to wear on days that are a bit cooler in Colorado but not snowy. This jacket seems like a perfect option for that.First the jacket is super light like a windbreaker but did a decent job of keeping me warm. The outside material isnt shiny, more matte and soft suedelike. I got a little bit of a bigger size to account for layers and I was really surprised with how roomy the jacket was with plenty of space if I'm wearing something thicker. I did not realize that there was a drawstring at the bottom which fits for me under my bottom to hug your body tighter for a more snug fit. I was slightly disappointed that there wasn't a similar feature for the wrist sleeve area. Instead there are Velcro tighteners which work well but I prefer the bungee option as the velcro can sometimes catch on certain Fabrics. There is a convenient pocket on the chest which would be nice for skiing or needing your phone or wallet quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the hood as it was extremely roomy and covered all of my head and hair with a bit of an overhang to prevent dripping on my face. I could not find any interior pockets which would be a great addition but for a lighter jacket this is a great option for anyone.
