Brought this because it made out like it was the game when infact we were sent a soundtrack. It’s not the same as the picture because the picture shows the game not a cd. Very unhappy waste of time and money inaccurate description.

Arguably, this is the title that started it all. Kids of today, pay attention because this is the game to play! This is the 'Classic That Started It All' - Grand Theft Auto on the PS1. Basically, the game puts you in control of a small-time criminal who must rise up the ladder by completing jobs (known as Missions in-game) for various criminals. Completing these missions earns you Cash or Points that ultimately allows you the push on to the two other cities within the game. That brings me on to the cities of the game - the player has 3 major American cities to explore and/or get lost in. You have Liberty City (your starting point), Vice City and San Andreas, each city plays in that order, respectively. The 3 cities contained in this game seem fitting to me, given that the spin-off games afterwards would be set in these 3 locations. Another thing to mention (although it is fairly obvious now, due to the spin-offs) is that the cities are based on real locations: Liberty City is New York City, Vice City is Miami and San Andreas is either Los Angeles or San Francisco in this game (it is NOT a state in this game, in comparison to its' 2004 counterpart game). In terms of playing and completing the story (the Missions), you (the player) have full creative control, so to speak. 99% of the time, you are free to complete jobs the way YOU want to... meaning that this classic title really started it all - this classic title 'defined' open-world, free roaming gameplay. That leads on to my next, and final, point. If you are not happy to just float around the map completing missions, there's no worries there! You can simply smash crates on city streets that provide the player with weapons and Bob's your Uncle... you can shoot/kill/blow up 'anything' in sight, literally! That, I am afraid to say this, is the game's greatest piece of enjoyment, in my opinion. Sadly, many of the kids of today who brag about GTA and this and that (thinking they 'know' it all), they really know nothing because I guarantee that 99.9% of them have not played this game! This is the 'Classic That Started It All'. 15 years later, and we are gearing up for the latest release in this franchise - GTA V. Let's see what happens... Thanks for reading this.

Exactly what it states on the description, product is actually in a better condition that listed, it’s more or less mint. Reasonable priced and fast delivery, all promise upheld.

My 9 year old loves it obviously with supervision, I dont mind a quick go on this but I get bored easily so I have enough after 15 mins

Great game.

The original I recently found in a charity shop and bought to get the feel of my childhood back. As many know you play a hoodlum who is making his way to the top of the underworld by stealing cars and doing jobs for the mob - a lot of them involving murder and extortion! Young people will laugh at the graphics but the gameplay makes up for the lack of that. The soundtrack can get annoying but there is still a couple of decent songs. The only other issue I had is that there are no checkpoints. Unlike the other GTA games you only get 4 lives per level and need to make 2 million before advancing to the next. Overall it is still a timeless and amazing game!
