This may be the best controller I've ever purchased. Multi-device compatible.
I purchased this controller for a mini-PC, living room TV setup, with its primary usage on a Windows 11 OS for Steam and emulation gaming. This device connected very easily using the BT mode, and Windows 11 recognized the gamepad without any issues. The controller itself is very sturdy, weighty and has a solid grip to the hands. It feels quality. The button push has a quality feel you get with premium controllers and matches my XBOne controller. I like the swappable faceplate idea, but have found the default purple was attractive enough not to mess with changing those. What I love most about this controller is the compatibility with mulit systems. I've tried it with my Win11 PC using BT, Wired and Wireless 2.4GHz. I've connected it with my Switch, and it even works flawlessly with my iPad. CON: Wireless 2.4G is very spotty. My only warning is that if your intent is to only use it with the wireless 2.4GHz mode, the range is poor. I was 12-15ft away from the PC on the couch, and if I put the controller in my lap and blocked the line of sight to the PC with my knees, I lost the signal. You can easily lose signal at that distance by just pointing the controller upright towards the ceiling. The wireless mode required me to point the controller directly at the USB dongle without anything in the way. BUT! Bluetooth is the way to go. I have no reason to keep it in Wireless 2.4G mode, When I'm connected with Bluetooth, the responsiveness is an A+ at the 15 feet, regardless of how I sit or position the controller.

Best controller I've ever used
The controller feels just like an original Xbox Core Controller except it weights less and has a longer lasting battery rechargeable and extra buttons. I use it daily on Warzone, it performs really well using the 2.4ghz mode but wired has the least amount of input delay. I have used the Bluetooth on my phone but I do not play phone games too often and also my phone weights more than the controller making it hard to play on it. Best $40 dollars spent on a controller, ever. Pros -Build quality -Connectivity works great ( Wireless 2.4ghz and wired ) -2 back buttons ( I use A & B for cooking in warzone ) -No stick drift( I use 0 deadzone on the left stick and 2 deadzone on the right stick for warzone ) -Comes with replaceable face plate for extra customization -Lightweight -Great Battery life Cons D-Pad quality ( not a problem since the games do not require use of the D-Pad like a fighting game. ) Turbo mode ( It's only a con because it could *potentially get you ban in games like warzone, If you use it you get a message saying unsupported Device warning ) I have owned dozens of controllers in the past, from the core xbox controller, to the elite, dualshock 4 and dualsense. The only controller that I consider as a better is the Dualshock 4, besides that this controller is great for those who want to play FPS shooters without worrying about stick drift. I've owned 3 dual sense controllers, 2 damaged from stick drift extremely fast. Imagine paying $200 USD to get a controller that is going to get stick drift in 2024, couldn't be me.

Worth Every Penny
This controller is a fantastic value, can't recommend it enough. Feels well built, with it mostly feel premium, save for the material of the face buttons. But the button mechanisms themselves feels great. The joysticks feel buttery smooth as well. Battery life is good too. Only have to charge once every 3-4 days. I typically game from dusk to dawn. The sticks and triggers all feel great. Buttons are nice and tactile. The face buttons being clicky is something that I especially like. Feels great to hold and feels about the same weight as an original Xbox One controller. The controller does have its issues though. The back paddles are nice, but I find myself occasionally hitting them when I don't mean to. Perhaps the mechanism to trigger them could be made a bit firmer? At least with my PC, I did find that the controller might on occasion disconnect when trying to turn it on, requiring me to reset the dongle on my PC. Also, the mobile app is not good. The English translation is extremely poor, and there aren't many features. This likely explains why it's only available through their website. Despite these flaws, I can't say I have much bad to say about gaming with it. It really is a joy to use. And it feels doubly great coming from an old Xbox controller that had unusably bad stick drift. A great controller for the price.

Greatest PC Controller Ever
I've never had a controller with so many working functions before. Just taking it out of the box and reading the manual I knew this was different from every other controller I've had. The ABXY buttons feel amazing to press, the thumbsticks are liquidy smooth and make zero noise. The bottom grips are sleek and I feel confident it won't slip out of my hands at all. The paddles on the back are smooth and easy to press, hold and set to other buttons with the middle gear button between the thumbsticks. The additional vibration button at the bottom is perfect for on-the-fly adjustments, no need to go to the menu for that. The best feature on this controller is the auto-press button next to the vibration button. With this you can either hold a button to rapidly press it or just press it once and it'll rapid press until you turn it off. A mini macro in a controller that truly sets it apart from every other controller so far. It comes with a USB receiver it can pair with immediately, and it has options on the back for the receiver, Bluetooth, wired and the Nintendo Switch. The battery lasts for a long time before I have to charge it, and even charging it to full doesn't take long. I've never bought one of those $200 SCUF or Elite controllers, and with this specific controller I won't ever have to. This has everything I want out a controller and more.

Really great controller -- great value for this price
I bought this a while back and have now spent a lot of time using it on several games, but especially on several of the Assassin's Creed games. This controller is phenomenal for such a low price. It's just the right weight, it feels really solid, and the buttons and switches are all very good quality. It's highly responsive and very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I have mostly used it on a PC, and most games that support a controller just detect it and set the buttons all optimally with no further configuration. I have used it on a Switch a few times, and it works well for that. I have not tried any of the other system options that it supports, but I would expect that it works as well on those too. The fact that it can work wirelessly or via a USB cable is great. This controller was a replacement in my PC gaming for an XBox One controller I was using, which also works well when plugged in via a USB. I really prefer this one over the XBox controller.

Broken dud stick drift
Within 3 weeks stick drift ruined my controller. I set deadzones to the max but still unusable, ive never seen this with even the cheapest controllers. I think i got a dud. The controller was perfect the first week. My most favorite controller ever, I was about to buy another for my wife. I emailed the company and will definitely update my review if they make it right. But as of now, its completely useless and I bought it 6 weeks ago. The return policy is only 4 weeks, I assumed 90 day policy was still the norm.

Great Controller! (Trobleshoot Instructions)
PRO'S - (1) Pricing. (2) It's a solid controller that feels premium when holding it or pressing buttons. I almost purchased an expensive scuf controller that would have cost $200. I am glad I saved my money and purchased this instead. (3) I have tested multiple devices such as Lenovo Legion Go, PC, and Samsung Galaxy S23, all worked. CON'S - (1) The controller has it's issues. For example, it comes with an app that allows you to configure the deadzones, triggers, etc... but I believe it's only available for android users. The application is called "EASYSMX" and it's not available to download in the app store. You'll need to google it. The app itself has questionable permissions, download it, configure controller, and uninstall it. (2) If you're planning to use the controller with Steam, make sure you connect the wireless adapter before opening up the Steam application, otherwise, the controller won't adapt to your steam controller settings. Even worse, you may have to restart your entire computer and once again open up Steam. (3) When switching between bluetooth and adapter dongle mode, you can accidently disconnect the controller from the adapter and both the controller and adapter will begin flashing. To fix this, simply look for the small button on your USB dongle adapter and press or hold it until the controller is once again connected. Overall, I have enjoyed the controller, it's both accurate in 3rd person & 1st person games and feels like any expensive premium controller. No need to look else where and purchase an over priced controller. IMO buy one now while it's $50 or on sale. It was initially released at $30 and because it received so much praise, they increased their pricing to $50. It's possible the price could go up again. I highly recommend it, Goodluck!

Technically works but... Not anymore...
It's hard to recommend this controller due to the main reasons I purchased it not working the way I want, or at all. ***UPDATE*** Both triggers and the left thumbstick have stopped working. I used the pinhole on the back to reset and still doesn't work. Buyer beware! ***END UPDATE*** I bought this controller for three main reasons: 1. Long battery life (especially in comparison to the other SMX controllers and other wireless controllers) 2. Wireless connection via 2.4 ghz wi-fi or Bluetooth 3. Hall effect joysticks (tired of replacing controllers due to stick drift especially at $50+) Battery life might have been great but I ran into a problem with the wireless connection. The first day using this controller was great. But then the next day I suddenly couldn't get the 2.4 ghz wireless dongle to work anymore. I also couldn't get my PC to even find the controller via Bluetooth. Controller works fine with included USB-C cable. I spent most of the day troubleshooting and looking for answers online only to find that quite a few people also had this issue and either couldn't fix it or found other solutions that didn't work for me. I mostly play RPGs and games that work fine with this controller. I have issues with my hands and arms (undiagnosed at the moment) that cause my whole arm to go numb sometimes after just a few minutes using mouse and keyboard. It seems hit or miss, somedays not being an issue at all but other days making it impossible and painful to use a mouse. Which is why I keep a controller on hand. Now to an unexpected issue. When playing games with shooting mechanics such as Helldivers 2 (and other shooters that require aiming) I find there's a tiny moment when pressing the stick to aim that it is unaffected by a deadzone. Basically it makes micro-adjustments impossible. Even when I adjust the deadzone in game or using a third party software just barely touching the stick would cause the reticle to move way too fast. I haven't found anyone else that had this problem so maybe I just got a faulty controller. Anyway, that's it. Currently I find it hard to recommend this controller but hopefully the protection plan I bought will help.

Absolute best value for money to easily compete with any brand name gamepads
I consider this X10 for PC (but also Mac!) by EasySMX, or for other devices like the Nintendo Switch for example, to be as premium as any official offering by more "brand" name companies. There is so much offered here I don't even know where to begin. Let's just start with the exterior of the device. I have an XBOX S also that comes with a white controller. As a 2nd controller, I bought a "space titanium grey" version that I use primarily, and save the white ones for when friends play with me. This unit is unique in that it offers those same two colour varieties... in one controller! There are custom plates that can be seamlessly added or removed, by simply switched them around and they click on easily and (I believe) magnetically. Such a cool feature just to begin with. But then there are a substantial amount of extra, programmable buttons across the entire unit, and fantastic vibration features. What I like the most about it, is that it's a proper Bluetooth device, and can connect to my modern laptops both PC or Mac, without the need for a dongle, which happens to be included in case you're using this controller with some kind of non-bluetooth capable device. Some say that IR controlling is a faster wireless connection. That might have been true once but bluetooth is so fast now, and this is clearly up to that standard, I have no latency issues using the bluetooth only connection. Whatever the case, the IR dongle is there as well. The unit can be charged via USB-C and the included cord is braided fabric, which is very nice and comfortable to move around with if you're keeping it attached to play. Again, there is no latency I can determine while using bluetooth, but in case you're picky about it, you certainly can play with the cord attached. There is nothing I don't like about this gamepad, it's everything I would expect from a premium game pad three times the price, but you can get it for an amazing value in this package without having to pay the extra. For gamers, this kind of value is priceless. 5 stars.

A Solid Choice for Gamers
The EasySMX X10 PC Controller offers a range of features for gamers looking for a versatile and customizable controller option. With a focus on personalization and precision, the controller introduces several notable functionalities. Customization Options The controller's magnetic swappable faceplate feature allows for a degree of personalization, enabling users to adjust its appearance according to their preference. While this adds a layer of visual appeal, the actual impact on gameplay or controller handling is minimal. Precision and Control Equipped with hall effect joysticks and triggers, the EasySMX X10 promises improved input precision. This technology aims to enhance the gaming experience by offering smoother and more accurate control. However, the real-world difference may vary depending on the user's sensitivity to controller input nuances. Battery Life A standout feature is the controller's extended battery life, boasting up to 40 hours of gameplay on a single charge. This longevity is convenient, reducing the frequency of recharges needed during extensive gaming sessions. Mechanical Keys The inclusion of mechanical keys is intended to provide a more tactile and responsive gaming experience. While they do offer a distinctive feel compared to standard controller buttons, the overall benefit is subject to personal preference. Compatibility and Connectivity Designed to be compatible with a range of platforms, including PC, Switch, iOS, and Android, the controller offers broad usability. However, users should note that performance and compatibility might vary across devices. Back Keys and Customization The controller includes two custom back keys, which are a welcome addition for gamers looking to tailor their control setup. However, the process and utility of customization could benefit from further refinement for a more intuitive experience. Overall Impression The EasySMX X10 PC Controller is a solid choice for gamers looking for a customizable and versatile controller. While it introduces several promising features, the actual enhancements to the gaming experience are more evolutionary than revolutionary. It competes well in its price range, offering good value for those in search of a reliable alternative to mainstream controllers.
