Brooks Men’s Launch GTS 9 Supportive Running Shoe

I’d been eyeing some higher quality running shoes over the years but as a barefoot treadmill runner, I usually don’t have the need. After getting into a race sponsored by my employer, there was no backing out and I had to get some decent shoes.Being a person who tends to over research, of course I had heard of Brooks shoe. You can’t go to any review site with seeing them rated and recommended… so with 60 days left to train, I gave in. Boy am I glad I did! While I got these at a good price, they’re still not cheap. But you can see the quality and durability in everything about these running shoes.Truly, they thought about it all… well, almost. I took out their laces and replaced them with Lock Laces. Must say, these are the finest running shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ll still run barefoot on the treadmill, because of the strength gained in other areas of the foot that shoes prevent from developing. But I’ll never run on concrete, trails or anywhere else outdoors without Brooks shoes. They provide excellent comfort, proper arch support, have no interior seams, loose threads or areas that cause pain of any kind. I’ve probably got over 50 miles on them already and it’s still hard to tell they’re not brand new. Fantastic running shoes that totally live up to the hype.

This shoes were for my son he find it comfortable and lights for running.

I got these for running and ended up wanting to wear them all the time. They ARE great for running. The support felt a little weird at first, but either the shoe got used to my feet or vice versa. Now they are awesome. I credit them with reducing knee pain when I run (my knees are 50 years old). And I wear them with jeans regularly too because I love how they look and feel. I will be buying them again.

great one' size is good but the wide could be wider...the adrenaline 21 are softer and more comfybut i like this too

Great pair of shoes, comfortable for working out and walking. Used them in Florida, walking up to 7-10 miles each day at the parks. Feet never hurt even after walking 17k steps. Highly recommend

I've run close to 4000 miles in various models of the Brooks Launch GTS (formerly the Ravenna series). I've put 120 miles on my first pair of the 9s so far, and fully expect them to carry me comfortably for 600 miles. Part of the reason for that is that the Launch GTS is not a soft or cushy running shoe. They're responsive and supportive, but much more firm than Adrenaline GTS, for example. It's a particular shoe for sure (I haven't encountered any other stability shoes with such a firm sole), but it's by far my favorite for road running at any distance, from a 5k to a marathon, and the 9 has resolved the minor annoyances I had with the 8 and the Ravenna 11.

Love the look feel and durability of the shoe

I like these shoes for running. The price and looks were great, but after a few months of occasional light running, they started to tear around the side toe.

Bastante ligeros, buena ventilación, cuando los usé por primera vez, iba caminando y sentía un poco dura la suela, pero cuando empecé a trotar, sentí un cambio en los tenis.Me agrado bastante el amortiguamiento de la suela, cuando empiezas a correr o trotar, se siente más suave, no tan suave como unos Nike pegasus trail, que también uso, pero firme y confortable.Siento que el material exterior del zapato es menos resistente que mis New Balance Nitrel, pero estos Brooks son más cómodos.Y definitivamente mejores que mis Puma Twitch runner trail.Me quedó un poco grande, hubiera pedido medio número menor (soy 26 mx, 8 us), pero ya no quise devolverlos :P

The fit was perfect. Comfortable and very light, barely know they are on! I use them for 5km path running is my main use. My feet feel good afterwards (and my knees hurt less than with cheaper trainers) so I think the extra cost is worth it. No problems with the quality.
