STAEDTLER FIMO Effect 8020-106 Oven Hardening Modelling Clay, 57 g - Citrus

I really like this product I have never used it before but I found it very easy to work with. I used it in silicone moulds, you just roll a small piece into a ball, place it in the mould and press it out so it fills it, you can trim off any excess and make sure you press it down hard and that the back is reasonably flat if it is something you are going to glue onto an item (I am making my own embellishments for card making and paper crafting). Then place it in the freezer for five to ten minutes so it hardens up enough to let you push it out of the mould without damaging the shape. Be careful when baking it, if you have a gas oven don't put it any higher than 1/4 of a degree!! Keep checking it and bring it out the oven when you feel it is hard enough. You need to leave them a while once finished cooking as they will continue setting for a bit once removed from the heat. What I really like about the stone/granite effect one is if you have little extra bits on the shapes you can snap them off once baked like you can with plaster of paris, unlike the other colours I have tried. The granite one also does not change colour at all once cooked (I say this because the white one changes to a milky/translucent finish). I will be buying more in the future would definitely recommend :)

I’ve used Fimo soft before and find it very good quality. This colour is a beautiful rose pink but did get slightly darker during baking ( which happens to all polymer clay ). Items came in perfect condition Will buy again.

Excellent Clay as always bbuuttt it the colour comes off on your hands so use gloves or wash your hands thoroughly before use other Clay

First time I have used it and I got great results from it. Mould it into what you want then put it in the oven. I put it on gas mark 4 for 35 minuets. I used a silicone square to make the shape and just built onto it. Would recommend it to beginners and experienced crafters.

I really like the granite effect of this Fimo clay, it's excellent for interesting clay jewellery!

I'm new to Fimo but seems to do as it's supposed to. Lovely colour and easy to handle. Models very well.
