Topo AthleticMen's MT-5 Running Shoes - Comfortable Lightweight Cushioned Durable 5MM Drop Laced Trail Running Shoes

I didn't think any shoe would pull me away from my Altra Lone Peak 6. This shoe (Topo MT-5) is a great alternative. It has the wide toe box similar to the Altra. That's a good thing. Light weight just like the Altra Lone Peak 6. The Lone Peak is a zero drop shoe and can take a little adjustment period. This shoe has a very small drop from heel to toe. For me, it is just the right alternative to a flat bed shoe. The sizing was perfect. Also, the Topo sole is less knobby than the Altra Lone Peak and thus feels a bit better to use as a casual everyday shoe in addition to road running.If you are looking for something similar to an Altra Lone Peak but with a tiny drop, a wide toe box and more cushioning you might want to give the Topo MT-5 a test drive.

I typically wear a Brooks Ghost or Adrenaline in 11.5m. I ordered the MT-5 in 11.5, but they seemed a bit too long. I'm reordering an 11, so we'll see how that works. Seem to have an nice build quality, and are very comfortable. As expected, a nice wide toe box. Other than sizing, it's a 5 star, granted i haven't put any miles on them. Stay tuned

Good looking shoe with vibram sole and wide toe box. Runs half size small and with a narrow arch. Had to return.

Owned plenty of Topos and they all run true to size, unfortunately however the sizing for the mt-5 is widely off, I'd recommend sizing either a half or full size down.
