This item is very sturdy and cost effective on Amazon. It is easy to use and has great drainability.

I needed a stainless steel pasta pot to replace an older non-stick version and this pot is just right. I was a bit unsure about metal pot handles and needing oven mitts to handle it, but actually in the time it takes to boil the water and cook the pasta, they don’t even get hot enough to require oven mitts to handle. The lid locks in place, it drains flawlessly. Very happy with this pot.

Very useful product, just worried about burn marks. I like the fact that I can strain the water out without needing an additional strainer.

It isn't as heavy as the Cuisinart pasta pan that this replaced. I had used it for over 10 years and had to quit using it because it had rust spots in it.I am happy that the bottom is still heavy.I love this sized pan. Works well with my new glass top range.

AFTER 3 TIMES BOILING WATER, THE BOTTOM OF THE POT STARTED RUSTING. THE LIGHT WEIGHT OF THE MATERIALDOSEN'T CONDUCT HEAT WELL, AND IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO BOIL. THE PRODUCT IS NOT WORTH BUYING. THESIDES OF THE INTERIOR ARE ALSO SHOWING SIGNS OF RUSTING. THE PRODUCT IS INFERIOR, AND NOT WORTH THE COST. IT IS SO BAD THAT I WON'T EVEN DONATE IT TO GOODWILL!

Great pot, for pasta.I had the coated oval pasta pot and the lid bent within a year. This pot seems much sturdier.
