This is a quality product, from engineering to the construction to the features. Long battery run time, sharp blades that will cut thru hedges and small stuff with ease. Wish it was a little lighter especially at extended length, but no deal breaker,. Get it.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this unit keeping in mind the repeated points emphasized in several reviews. It is a little top heavy when working on taller hedges and can be a little challenging when working on smaller hedges due to the shortest length of the pole the unit will operate. I was impressed with how well it performed in both area and the adjustable angles of the head. Battery power was never an issue. Worked well and worth the price.

This works well and gets the job done. The blade cuts though the bush with ease minus it gets snaged on some thicker pieces. The battery life is decent. Its not to heavy to carry around. Everything came with the bush trimmer as described the battery charger is a big plus. The only con about this is the trimmer only takes the maxlander brand battery. Nothing wrong with the battery but I wish this trimmer had a universal battery port because any other brand of power tool battery you have personally own will not work with this . So it got 4 stars just because of that but over all this will be useful when needed and I would recommend the protection plan in case this it breaks or damaged when receiving this item. I ordered the 22 inch blade.

Battery life is awesome! Trimmed all around the house and outbuildings and I just kept going! Trimmed grass and high weeds and it worked great! Still haven’t had to recharge it! Used to use a weedwacker and would have to change out batteries, twice, and still couldn’t finish the trimming. This handheld is small , lightweight, and durable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I purchased this specific hedge trimmer as it had the longest extension I could find. After it arrived, I didn’t use it immediately. When I did use it I found the battery worked for the duration of my short project but would not stay charged if the tool was not used. After a couple uses, the battery would no longer charge at all. The trimmer came with a 30 day warranty and by the time I realized the battery was defective, it was 6 weeks after I took delivery of the tool. I contacted the company by email and they replied within 24 hours. They indicated they would send me a replacement battery at no charge. I received it within 5 days. It was obvious I had a defective battery from the beginning but technically it was out of warranty when I did realize it and yet they stood by their product. The hedge trimmer itself is very sturdy and well constructed and works exactly as advertised. I highly recommend this hedge trimmer when you have high branches to trim. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another Maxlander tool in the future.

The product worked well for almost a year. We realized the battery was defective, so we called the company to get a replacement battery and was told they were sending either a new battery or a replacement unit. We waited a few weeks, but didn't hear anything. My husband began calling them over the last couple of weeks and left several messages includingthe order number, but no one called him back. Today, the customer service number recording said you have to go online to process returns. So we called Amazon and were told that it just went out of warranty by 3 weeks...we called the manufacturer when there was 2 weeks left in the warranty. They should have told us then to go through Amazon, but instead gave us the run around so we would be out of warranty. Now, we'll have to spend $49, half the cost of the original equipment to get a new battery, and we've had it just over a year, maybe used it a dozen times, because a defective battery pack. Save yourself the hassle and expense and go with a different product.

This is an amazing trimmer! It is half the weight and 30% longer than my old trimmer. I worked on my hedges for over an hour on one battery, with power left over! The ability to vary the length of the pole is crucial, as well as the multiple blade angles.

Two things about this trimmer number one is it has an extension pole but the one attached should also detach so you can use it as a smaller handheld instead of Soly a pole trimmer would’ve been a very easy fix secondly there is no way in gods green earth that this will cut a three-quarter branch! Not a half inch branch or a 1/4 inch branch! Know that going in I am returning mine and ordering one with a mini chainsaw attachment that will also break down into a small hedger as well I hope this review helps other than that the battery, reach, etc. is great

The Hedge Trimmer works perfectly. A bit heavy but my age will probably be the issue for that reason. The strap that’s included helps a lot. Had a problem with a missing item but the seller found a solution. I highly recommend this seller & their products.

Good , needs a learning curve, has to use often for a balance. did a great job pleased with the results.

The motor is noisy and cuts out after 4 uses. Not impressed. I didn't get2 batteries as shown. not sure it will last to much longer
