Very good foam roller. Holds up, and is a joy to use. Of course, consult doctor or physical therapist first. I cannot compare brands almost say without a doubt it will be recommended

This foam roller is incredibly firm, almost too firm if you're just starting out, but that’s what I was looking for. It holds its shape really well and doesn’t compress under pressure. It is too hard for comfortable rolling on the back for me - no ‘give’ in the foam density. Worse, the surface is semi-shiny and has little texture - slips on floors, carpets, and clothing.

Exercises prescribed by my physio were painful at first with this thing, but now I can feel the improvement.
