Great Dash and Rear Cam Setup for the Price!
Saw the great price and thought this would be worth the attempt to add some additional visibility to my Hummer H2. The install is pretty straight forward. The hardest part is running the wiring for the rear camera. I was very shocked to see that the wiring was long enough to run from the rear of the Hummer all the way to the front all while being neatly tucked away sight unseen. So far, I am very pleased with the system. Only drawback for me is the plug adapter to which I will resolve by hardwiring the system and not having to worry with the plug adapter in the power outlet. Also would like for 1080 access while the rear camera is active. It’s only an option for the front camera when the rear is not connected. Other than that, I’m happy with this product, the price and ease of install.

Works very good, you have to do some research getting the rear camera installed.
Works as promised. I was using just the front camera and found it records very well. I had an issue with old SD card (from an android phone) bought a class 10-32GB card it worked flawlessly. I was finally was able to install the backup camera and works very good too. I found out that you need to use the provided USB /car adapter otherwise the rear camera will not work. It's nice that the camera can record front and back camera at the same time. It will create 2 folders on the SD card one ending in "a" (front video), and "b" for rear camera. If you install it yourself the hardest part is trying to figure out where/ how to mount and install the rear camera. I also purchased some screws with bolts to attach the camera to the car, as the screws that come with the camera don't look very secure. Also, you may need to buy extra wire as I did. My car's backup lights are not on the trunk door/hatch where the camera is mounted, the video camera cable will reach all the way to where the camera is ; but the positive lead that you need to splice into the positive reverse lights wire is not long enough to go from the rear camera back towards the backup lights, spliced in another piece of wire to the light then ran back to the positive lead to the camera.

Good value, good functionality
I installed this camera in my Saab sedan.Pros:-Good functionality. Forward and rear cameras, g-sensor, and video recording.-Good picture quality.-Responsive controls with the option to use the touch screen or buttons (I like the buttons so I don't get so many fingerprints on the mirror).-Kit included ample length cables for the mirror and camera for my compact car. I suspect it would easily accommodate a full size sedan and maybe even a small crossover SUV without needing any extra wire (depends on the vehicle and where you choose to run the wires).Cons:-It can be difficult to see the image if there's too much light on the mirror. On a bright day I can barely see the screen.-Doesn't always turn itself on when I expect it to, requiring me to turn it on with the button. Not a huge deal, just annoying. It may be a matter of how I configured the settings.Installation was easy with some general mechanical knowledge; it required drilling holes for the mounting screws and another for the camera wire, but whether you will need to do this probably depends on your car. The power wire from the camera is tiny, 26 AWG I think, possibly even 28, so splicing it into the reverse light wire is a delicate job (I didn't have any butt splices or terminals small enough, ended up ordering some small-gauge solder sleeves).I connected the mirror to a USB port in the car instead of using the standard cigarette lighter socket, but BE AWARE: you need a mini USB cable with a right angle connector because of the tight clearance between the top of the mirror and the roof of the car. This may not be the case in some larger vehicles but I learned the hard way that I couldn't use the old mini USB cord I had laying around. I actually ended up cutting off the end of the cable that came with the kit and soldering on a USB connector. All in all I am happy with this backup camera and would buy it again. I would like it if the picture was brighter to make it easier to see but it's a fair tradeoff for the low price.

Don't let the price fool you, it's a GREAT camera
Super satisfied with this. I was intimidated about installing the backup camera, but it turned out to be a breeze. The camera itself is excellent quality. I was very suspicious considering how cheap it was, but it shipped out quickly, the seller was communicative when I asked questions, and the unit itself was in fantastic shape. I have been using my GoPro, dash-mounted as my dash cam, but I was getting tired of having to charge it, turn it on and off, etc. This thing does it all, has a parking made, and came with the backup camera that instantly had me spoiled. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and it was already an ease to fit into parking spaces and backup.Another reason I like it is that if I go topless in the jeep, the whole thing is super quick to detach and lock up in the console along with my GPS. It takes about 10-15 seconds to pull it out of the console and re-attach it. I don't often go topless unless I'm out on a trail or camping, but living in Hawaii, sometimes I just want to have a beach day and take the top off while I'm at it. This makes me a little nervous, though, because the size of the camera is obvious in a topless Jeep to even the most casual car person. When the top is on, people only notice when they get in, but with it off, it's like a sign that says "steal me". I have also felt it's like an advertisement when I am detaching all my gear for the whole world to see and then stowing it in my console. While they can be tough to break into, it isn't exactly a safe.

Recording Not That Clear
Writing this review after about 10 days of usage. If you connect both the cameras, the front camera records at 720 pixels. If you want to use the rear camera just for recording, no need to attach it to the tail light, just connect the rear camera to AV in socket of the front camera. If you want to use the camera both as reverse parking camera and rear recording camera, connect the AV in the front camera and the power cable of rear camera to the the tail lamp. The recording of the camera is not clear. It will provide you the recording in which you can the major details can be seen but if you try to read a number plate in the video (the most important thing for getting a dashcam installed), you wont be able to. So, you cant prove anything without number plate in case of an incident.Once the front camera is fitted over the existing Rear View Mirror, there is a lot of vibration in the camera mirror and the rear view vibrates too much and the recording video is wavy.I wont suggest this at all.
