My brother is partially disabled from an almost fatal car accident. He has some presen memory loss and manual dexterity issues. He forgets to cut his toenails when he cuts his fingernails, as I discovered, and has difficulty in doing it, so he puts it off or forgets. His toenails were horrific. Regular nail clippers couldn't even begin to go over the nails. I ordered these hoping they might work, but doubtful anything other than a podiatrist could get them somewhere near normal.I am amazed. These clippers have a wider opening and sharper blade edges than anything we have had before. It did take some maneuvering on both of his great toes to get around the nails, but these clippers did it easily. They really work great. I had to cut them for him as they were so twisted and long and he doesn't have the flexibility or dexterity to handle that mess.These are great clippers and I most definitely recommend them. The sleeve case is nice, but the clippers are fantastic. He is so much more comfortable now and I have learned I need to check his toenails for myself every couple of months since it seems his present memory loss is advancing.You will be happy with these clippers.

As I struggle to trim my toenails (and fingernails) with nerve-damaged hands, I am always hopeful something will work. I’ve got several different varieties of clippers I use. My biggest problem is my inability to hold on to them as I have poor dexterity and poor sensation.The angle on these clippers helps me to hold them in the right position and also to get the leverage I need. They’re not perfect mind you, but they do help me.As with all clippers, it seems, one side cuts better than the other. Haven’t found a clipper yet that this isn’t the case. I am aware of this because I also use them to trim hang nails and painful splits in my fingertips.Would I recommend it for others? Yes, they are definitely worth a try to see if they will be beneficial to you. The quality is good and I’m pretty impressed so far.

These are really nice toenail clippers. Easy to use, they trap and hold the clippings well and are very sharp. I expect to keep them for a long time unless they start to rust.However, the listing claims that they are made of stainless steel. Most stainless steel alloys are non-magnetic but these are strongly magnetic. Stainless steel is not generally painted if it is to be used in a damp or corrosive environment, as any chips in the paint cause it to corrode. These clippers are finished with an attractive grey paint that is easily scratched and chipped. In fact, the end of the return spring wore clear through the paint on the handle the first time I used them. I purchased this product specifically because of its advertised stainless steel construction, and suspect that I was sold a lie. In any case, the finish does not seem to be durable, and that would have been one of the main virtues of a bare stainless steel clipper. I expect these to be considerably less durable than my previous chrome-plated steel clippers, but hope that time will prove me wrong.

I have abnormally thick toenails and these clippers are the best I have found to cut them. They come with a nice case to keep in your nightstand or medicine cabinet. They fold down small so you can travel with them. They come with a nice pick for ingrown and toenails. I usually go through a couple pairs of tonail clippers a year. I've had these for quite sometime now and I don't foresee them breaking. great purchase
