Tenon cross cut saw
Absolutely worth the money, I just love having really good tools in my hands, nothing more pleasing than to use good quality tools, not cheap and nasty rubbish

Asymmetric Kerf
Asymmetric and excessive kerf on one side causes it to cut an arch and bind. Material looks to be ok if you want to spend the time resetting the kerf and sharpening. This one is going back.

A little work can turn this into a high dollar saw for cheap...
I bought this saw looking for a mid range saw that might be comparable to a saw that costs 2-3 times as much. When the saw came, I put it to use in some pine and walnut. It cut decent enough, but you can tell the saw was mechanically sharpened. Everything else about the saw was solid, it just didn’t have the polish of a more expensive saw.I ended up doing a quick sharpening pass of the teeth, which made an amazing night and day difference cutting both hard and soft woods. I also did a quick sanding and buffing of the brass saw back, which made it smooth and quite shiny. Lastly I made a new handle to replace the uncomfortable stamped “handle” that came with the saw.Bottom line, if you want a 200-300 dollar saw but don’t have the budget, you can put some time and simple work/maintenance into this saw and easily have a comparable tool.

Good value
Excellent sawplate, I like the heft. Be sure to remove the laquer coating on the blade with denatured alcohol, otherwise there is a lot of friction in sawing. The handle is certainly solidly serviceable, but not fancy. Thus the reasonable price. A good saw for the money.
