I used to shoot full frame but went to apsc for its size. I wanted the flexibility of a cage but didn't like the idea of the added bulk. Let me say this, it doesn't add much to the camera at all and I actually think it feels better in the hand with it than without. The camera is still easy to get in and out of my camera bags. Including the smaller bags. I love the grip now so much better and also love the connection points for my camera strap. The nice added bonus is that you can add a small Arca Swiss plate to the side to turn this also into an L-bracket. If you thinking about it, just get it.
