Great item and easy to use and reasonably priced.
Surely a great price and so far so good for quality. 2 Boston Terrorizing Terriers, one white and black and the other black brindle and not a flea on either of them. No smell at all, so our neighbor has been trying to pick fleas off their dogs and I never take any chances. Great and easy to use.

Gets the job done!
I"ve been using this about 10 yrs. My cocker spaniel and my mother's Pekingese had reactions to the chewable ones. I didn't want to take any chances after the 2nd time that the 3rd reaction might be worse. My Hershey is gone now but I have 2 larger dogs (45 & 55 lbs) that I use this one. None of them has ever had a reaction and they have always been flea free. I wasn't sure if it really killed ticks until a couple of years ago, I found some dead ticks on my brindle pittie. They were in her fur but had not latched onto her skin. I've told other people about this and it will continue to be what I use.

Flea treatment
The product worked great start with but after about the first week it started losing it as effectiveness and my dog started getting fleas and ticks again so I am going to have to treat them earlier than 4 weeks because they're already infested again I put a four but it's more like probably a three killed ticks and fleas instantly soon as they got treated but did not work like it says

Worked right away, within a week they were gone!
Took my dog to the dog park and brought fleas back! Advantage was not working so I switched to this. Within the week I see nothing so far on my three dogs and one cat. I will update on a few more weeks! The only thing I was not a fan of was the opening of the vile. Usually you just break them but had to use scissors, but that also means they were sealed well so I can manage! I DO recommend this !

Haven't seen a flea/tick at all! Can burn dog's skin and difficult to put on a dog with undercoat
I switched from another leading brand 3-month chew to this topical brandy for safety purposes. I've not seen a flea or tick since I began using it five months ago (repeat buyer here). Positives - It's less harmful than any chew. It's cost effective. Negatives - it can temporarily burn your dog's skin. After the third use I noticed my dog itching. I checked his skin and found red patches. I showed my vet and he said the topical was slightly burning his skin (which I found out is not uncommon with topicals - ugh! Topicals and Internals each have their drawbacks). Month four and five we are back to normal. It is NOT easy to apply to a dog with an undercoat. It smells and because it needs to dry for a good amount of time we won't pet our dog on the back for 24-28 hours after application. You can't let them get wet (think rain, snow, groomer/bath) for 24-48 hours after application. I miss the ease of the chew, but even with the negatives with Activate II it is much safer for my dog!

Flea and Tick Prevention
I used the flea and tick prevention and it’s working pretty good.

Effective and affordable 👍🏼
Ngl, I was worried about spending this much on this, but my dog got a tick infestation out of nowhere and nothing was helping. I followed the instructions and it’s been two days and the ticks have been falling off dead left and right. I really didn’t get a scent from it, but I’m glad I didn’t have to shave my little guy if your dog has a tick or flea infestation this is probably the best affordable option.

Two treatments in and still finding fleas. No relief for my dog.
I was hoping for a miracle when I got this Activate II Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs, but the miracle didn’t come. I applied the first treatment and nothing changed. After a couple days I thought maybe my dog wasn’t itching quite so much but there were still fleas on him. Then the itching came right back. The instructions say you can use another treatment a week after the first for tough cases, so I used a second dose. It’s been 3 days since the second dose and my dog is still itching like crazy and I found more fleas on him today. I’m so disappointed that this isn’t helping at all. My dog is chewing all his hair off and going nuts. I feel so bad for him trying to help him while he remains in misery. As far as the rest goes, this is easy to use, and it did not make my dog sick like other products we’ve tried have done. Too bad it just doesn’t work. I’ll finish this up per instructions and add a third dose on the third week. I’ll update if we finally beat the fleas but at this rate I’m feeling pretty defeated and have no confidence in this fleas treatment.
