World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 3

This book starts ( a few pages in ) with the Burning Crusade ( and if you don't know what that is then this book is probably of no use to you ) and carries on the potted history of the MMORPG World of Warcraft. It has sumptuous production values, printed on thick heavy gage paper, full colour throughout, excellently laid out and some lovely paintings punctuate the text...which...is where, unless you are a WOW lore nerd, you might find an issue. The writing is almost encycylopedia like and as such can come across as a little dry, hence the dropped star from the review.If you're a real WOW fan, get it.

Great quality book for any Warcraft fan

I live for lore, I love it. I’ve read all the books, read all the quests, scouted all the wiki pages.This book just spends half the time justifying how the WoW players fit into the universe so it’s lots of “Baddie X was a problem so <insert Horde/Alliance> dispatched a team of heroes and they vanquished baddie X”There was nothing ‘new’ it was just summarising all of the WoW expansions quickly.If you’ve never read anything to do with Warcraft or played any games this would be interesting for you for sure but for me it was disappointing

Its a lovely book, really interesting and full of details that I was missing from the Warcraft lore. The pictures are amazing as usual! I am really happy that I have the full collection of the Chronicles, really good purchase!

If you like World of Warcraft or if you would like to explore the history of Azeroth or if you like a beautiful art - this is a book for you. The content is amazing, the arts are just breathtaking. Totally recommend it!
