Q: What is the “work” button on the controller for?

The work button shows the mask is on and "working".

Q: Does this product heat the Maxillary sinus areas well?

This was a recent purchase for me; and, as such, my usage has been somewhat limited to date. With that caveat, I have found that the product does a good job in the maxillary sinus area, as compared to that of the frontal sinus area, which I would rate as slightly better. Hope that helps!

No, it only relieves the congestion and associated pressure.

Q: Any way this can be used with something to provide moisture? Like even a damp paper towel under it?

Hi, because of the electrical components it's not recommended to use it in such a way. This is a direct heat (think heating pad but for your sinuses). Thank you for your interest!
