Perfect fit for hp Docking Station G4
I needed a reasonably priced cable lock for my hp Docking Station G4 at work. With frequent theft of docking stations in my office by other coworkers, I was forced to buy a cable lock on my own. This cable lock fits perfectly on my docking station, and it was reasonably priced; albeit, the cable is thinner than most laptop cable locks, but this is fine since all I'm really preventing is coworkers stealing my docking station.

Great lock to secure laptop.
Great laptop lock - easy to use with a combination vs. having to have keys.

Lightweight protection against casual theft
I was surprised when my existing Kensington locking cable didn't work with my new notebook. Apparently sometime in the past 10+ years they added a new standard "micro" security slot that my old cable was too big for. Initially when I got this I thought it was still too big, but then realized that one has to pull back the black slide to make the locking bar smaller so it will sit in the slot. Clever.Resetting the security code is easy as "explained" in the included pictorial instruction sheet. However I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 primarily because I feel like the code wheels are a bit on the small side which makes them a bit harder to use to dial in the combination. Admittedly, this may be a mostly moot point if you're not going to be plugging it in and out much. But I would have been happier with a slightly larger The cable is relatively thin and lightweight, a plus for travelling, and while they claim that it's not so easy to cut, I doubt it's going to stand up to any significant effort. OTOH, if you look at this as a simple way to stop somebody from casually snatching your laptop of the desk/table, then I think it's perfectly fine.
