The tool works well, and as intended. The Astro Pneumatic customer service is vary good and helpful. One thing to be sure is to make sure to you get the air pressure set correctly. The guy using it had the pressure too high and striped the threads off of the mandrel.

After numerous hours of trying to get this thing to operate properly I finally had to throw in the towel. Out of probably 30 rivet nuts only 2 if you're ready for set correctly. If you're ready for a frustrating time trying to drill out loose rivet nuts and want to invent new four-letter words then buy this product if not steer clear.

Ive used many of these if you know what your doing it is good. easy to set air too high and it will break the insert bolt. order more bolts if its your first

I bought this tool for tight spaces where my levered manual tool won’t fit. The tool seems well made, but it doesn’t work by pulling, it just turns, so it’s the same thing as simply tightening a bolt in the rivnut. That works if you can keep the nut from spinning, but good luck with that. Endless frustration and you’re going to end up using the old bolt/nut/washer method to set the rivnut anyway, so keep your cash.

Sets nutserts quickly and repeatably, wonderful tool :)
