Pretty impressive actually, the numbers match up surprisingly well, with in a couple thousand lumens, with the actual advertising which is a lot more than I can say for most of the products Amazon allows and supports sellers lying about in the product descriptions. This thing does what it says it will give or take 2000-3000 lumens on the highest setting. It’s also built quite well and the design makes for easy use and both the ability to use a handle and to use it as a standard flashlight.It IS a bit excessive if you don’t really have a use in mind but in my case as an example, it saves me a ton of time that I used to use walking up to areas to illuminate and inspect them with a standard storefront flashlight and now even even from a few hundred meters away I can do a decent visual inspection. Roofs are no issue either and spotting smoke would be a simple matter as well so I can see some real world use cases where this will shine for people with similar requirements as myself.The -1 star mostly comes from the fact there isn’t much feedback on what the light is doing, a 7 segment display for voltage/voltage drop would cost a few cents to maybe a dollar to add and water proof so I could see when to charge or replace the battery but it’s far from a deal breaker and it does last my full 12 hour shift with hourly patrols where it’s used. Needing to jab it with a multimeter after a while to determine when the battery has faded before it begins running out of juice in the middle of use isn’t that hard but for this price it’s worth noting that it’s not what I would call feature-complete.Otherwise if you are wondering if this is worth it over one of Imalent’s brighter offerings with a shorter range I would say yes, for sure. The construction of the reflector is stunning and even the low settings give you an incredible amount of accurate illumination, this thing is both capable of blinding levels of light and of using the low powered settings to put other similarly bright lights to shame with how well it throws the light on those lower settings even the 50 lumen “moonlight” mode.I can’t say a 400$+ flashlight is *worth it* per say but if you’ve read up on the light and have some use for it or simply would enjoy having too much power for whatever reason this likely won’t disappoint. It should also be noted that it’s stated max throwing distance is really a “max” since it doesn’t really deliver enough light nearly two km away to make a real difference but it’s also not a lie, it really DOES throw some level of illumination to the advertised distance.TL;DR a very good flashlight that’s reasonably close to it’s advertised specs that is missing a few little convenience and self diagnostic features that should be standard but otherwise I personally think it’s a great product. If you want to be able to use all 50,000lm without blinding everyone within half a km or more and making it hard for your own eyes to stay adjusted to the darkness this thing does an amazing job of putting its light exactly where you need it.

I have used this Imalent SR16 over a couple of dark evenings and was astounded by amount of light this torch can give out. There are multiple power modes from a perfectly usable 50 Lumen Moonlight all the way up to a claimed 55000 turbo setting. The battery life is excellent in low power, rated to give around 90 hours before a 2 hour recharge is needed, this decreases exponentially as you turn up the brightness. There are a total of 16 LED's inside the torch that do get quite hot up to nearly 65 degrees C, these are cooled by 2 fans which come on when the torch senses it is getting too hot. I liked the dual power switches, one mounted to a carry handle the other on the body. There is a lot to like with this product, however there are a couple of drawbacks. The IPX water rating is quite low to allow the fans to work efficiently, drop resistance is quite low at a claimed 0.5 meter impact rating and the unit gets very hot when used on max settings leading to it throttling its performance.In conclusion I am very impressed with the overall performance but would like to have seen a solid carry case and perhaps a higher impact rating, recommended.

I have to say that this is the most powerful long shot flashlight i have ever owned. It holds an incredible, 55000 lumens, Which is so powered up, It has cooling fans to keep it calm. The distance it can beam is around 1715 meters, Give or take, which is ideal if you need to do a long distance search in the dark or work late at night on a project that needs a serious amount of bright light.Even though this is pretty juiced up, It is portable, Weighing around 1180g. This is about the same weight as 3-4 hefty torches, But compensates with a sturdy handle and handle switch design that can double up. The fans are present, But pretty quiet, So i can focus on what i need to do without disturbance. Overall, An excellent piece of kit.
