Powerful
As a retired fireman I put this on my 1" hose to protect my home from wildfires. Living in the mountains can be a problem but this nozzel put out a stream of over 40'... Love it.

The Best
I've been buying these for years. They last longer than any other and the spray is stronger and more powerful than anything other. I have three on our three hoses and will continue to buy this Fireman's Nozzle.

High flow
Works great and very high flow. A little on the large size, I don't think the red rubber part needs to be that big. Also when you lay it on the ground and it gets dragged, the lever can get caught and turn on.

Excellent! Not a waste of money.
I love this hose nozzle. It literally does turn a regular hose into a firehose. It does take a bit to get used to because of its size though.

Doesn’t even form a normal jet stream
Extremely Disappointed! I purchased because of the advertised 250 psi. This is not even close to accurate! It doesn’t even make a jet stream. Not worth the money.

I don’t think this works well for home use
The media could not be loaded. It’s bigger than I thought but the build quality is great, solid. My issue is that I don’t think this will work in a normal home use case for washing cars, etc. I hooked this up to a normal house hose outside but water coming out has no pressure. They state the max pressure this handles but should also state the minimum in their ad

It works, but not well.
I had one like this made by Nelson that put out a lot of water in in a mist of very small droplets which was perfect for watering freshly planted seeds. I was hoping this would be the same, but the machining must not be as good on this Chapin as the spray pattern is not uniform and the droplets cannot be made as small. The jet mode works well, but that is not why I bought it.

For high flow rate applications
You can adjust the "pattern" with the red nozzle. The handle can restrict the flow rate but I kept it on full. Results: 10ft at 7.5gpm and 25ft at 5gpm using an industrial 5/8" 100ft hose. You can water plants by adjusting the pattern and slightly restricting the flow rate with the big red handle.
