Smaller than expected but good quality, not too heavy.

Here is why: I have purchased 4 pairs of earrings from this company. I really liked the first 3 pairs a lot. They were 14k gold hoop styles. The color was pretty, the earrings had a bit of weight to them which felt nice, but not too heavy for ears. The styles were pretty and go with so many outfits. And the backs slide on and off securely so I didn't worry about them falling out. The downside is the gold color does wear off pretty quickly, in like 6 months-ish, so when that happened I just bought new ones, to replace the tarnished ones. On my 4th pair, I decided to bite the bullet and invest in something nicer that would last longer. I chose the 18k vermeil hoops instead of 14k ($70 vs $14). After wearing them over the course of 4-6 months, the gold started to rub off JUST AS QUICKLY AS the cheap 14k ones. Literally NO difference whatsoever. I reached out to the company about the lack of quality in hopes of a refund or a replacement pair. I thought maybe they sent me the wrong ones by accident? Or maybe they just stand behind the quality of their product and would compensate me for the lack thereof. NOPE. Nothing. They just told me these were indeed 18k gold vermeil. Return policy is only 30 days and Warranty is 60 days. (Neither of which help when you have to wear them 4 moths to start noticing the poor quality.) They also offered me a 10% discount if I would like to purchase ANOTHER $70 pair of gold vermeil. Seriously?! Wow. So here I am, warning you now, DO NOT waste your money. Stick with the cheaper 14k and just plan to replace them when they tarnish. *I attached a photo showing the larger gold vermeil hoop tarnished quite a bit - I have literally owned them 6 months. And the smaller 14k plated hoop next to it that isn't even tarnished as badly, which I have owned 10 months. So yeah, save your money and stick with the cheaper ones. 1 STAR for the 18k vermeil, total waste of money. 2 STARS because I actually do like the 14k gold, and for the price point don't mind replacing them when needed.
