This book doesn't disappoint you at all. The story line is great the characters are easy to root for and its well written

Maya awoke not knowing where she was or who she was. Mason lost his job but got another guarding a door. Mason finally found out what was behind the door. A woman who sparked something inside him. The plot was surprising. Maya had no knowledge of any of it. Good story and ending.

I feel like this book has a lot of potential it wasn’t a bad read but I wish I got to know more about the characters, especially Maya. I think that maybe it would have helped if we got flashbacks of the person she used to be while she was being held captive but as it is I. Can really get emotionally connected to her situation because she feels like a stranger.

A great book to read. Couldn’t put it down and will be reading the next book in the series. Both characters were great…nothing forced or awkward.

This is my first book by this author. I found it to be different and interesting. Lots of drama and action. It was a little slow in the beginning getting the background on the characters but it quickly picked up.

This is a story about a woman who was kidnapped. Then the kidnapper hired a guard. Come to find out the guard was honest and forthright. She was also his mate. Then the fire started. Well worth reading.

It wasn't bad it just wasn't particularly good. I probably won't read anything by this author again. I was disappointed more than anything else as I had hoped to be moved to feel something and just wasn't

I finished it but honestly not impressed it was fast in a disjointed way and really no plot other than she’s kidnapped and he’s the bodyguard the kidnapper hires and some other stuff about her bloodline. And the smut was subpar at best so def wouldn’t recommend I just kept reading to see why the mad scientist kidnapped here and it as a basic reason not even imaginative

While I found myself much more attached to Masons character then to Myra, I felt her character was missing too much with the memory loss but overall an enjoyable read. With this much fire a bit more spice would of been nice though lol

This story was actually quite interesting. I was expecting it to be more of a short, Insta love type story, but there was depth and a plot that was dynamic. The story was intriguing and different. I quite enjoyed it, I would recommend reading it. I liked how the relationship developed between the two characters it was just really sweet.

Guard to lover trope? Exciting introduction to this world and interesting to see human nature at its finest still 🙄 love the nature of the mmc and the size difference
