Review: Loving the cookbook - I'm getting into my asian cooking. I like that this book uses so much for traditional ingredients, it doesn't hold your hand, but when it uses japanese words, you can find what they are in the dictionary at the back. Some of the recipe categories involve some level of repetition between dishes, but then how many European dishes involve starting with browning onions in a frying pan. My only issue is sourcing some of the ingredients in the UK. The style of writing is simple to follow & I really like the bamboo hardback finish. On the whole I greatly recommend this book.

I'm getting into my asian cooking. I like that this book uses so much for traditional ingredients, it doesn't hold your hand, but when it uses japanese words, you can find what they are in the dictionary at the back. Some of the recipe categories involve some level of repetition between dishes, but then how many European dishes involve starting with browning onions in a frying pan. Great book, clearly explained,with helpful hints and Beautiful photographs! The only down side, some of the ingredients can be hard, if not impossible to find!
