WARNING! It gets very very hot while data transfer be careful.. starting speeds are great but as it heats up speeds decrease.. tho.. it cools down fast, it can burn you if used for heavy transfers.. buy ssd if you want to be safe or a portable HDD it's safer and equally as reliable.. this works perfectly as intended and is portable too so I definitely recommend..

The media could not be loaded. Product is fine but have to little compromise with quality, complete metal , strong body but the hinge is slight week,it will not break but do little sound when shake, you can refer the video, but it's easy to use ,gives great speed around 370MB read and 160MB write, and in practical also I have seen 100MB+ write speed in both usb A and type c. Mostly those who are saying not getting speed, either they got fake product, but I believe they are using it in usb 2. I have tested in thunderbolt 4 type c and usb a 3.2 gen 1 and I get the speed they claimed.

I would not recommend anything more than 128 GB unless you never write more that 5-10 GB at a time.Pros:1. Solid metal build which gives you confidence about its physical durability.2. Metal body also dissipates heat more efficiently which I think will contribute to its electronic longevity.3. Minimal size and versatility of using it with both Type-A and Type-C ports.4. Many additional features if you use bundled software. I usually don't so not sure about them.Cons:1. Although heat dissipation is a good feature of metal body, it can become so hot that you might need to be careful.2. Advertised read speeds are correct only for sequential reads. Random reads are significantly low (almost 100 times).3. Write speeds are also 5 time lower than read speeds which is expected but after about 5-10 GB of writing, it drops to half from around 80 MBps to 40 MBps.My speed test report was little different from other reviews, so sharing that too. But just keep in mind that these tests only use 1GB for testing which can only use the buffer and hence seem faster.

The producct build quality is good and compact. The connectivity is good.Ithave heating issue which effect the transfer speed.Copying from device to drive is 40mbps avg and from drive to device is 300mbps avg.
