I needed this to open up space on my wool ironing mat. I needed a place to rest myiron and I didn't want to burn my table.This has been a perrfect solution. No problems at all. Love it.

So I got an Oliso iron that mid rested on feet horizontally- didn't realize it would melt my cutting mat. Got this silicone rest to protect my ironing board cover while th iron is resting between ordering a- works perfectly. Makes me feel safer when the iron is heating or while Its on but not in use

Convenient and handy

I do like this product because my ironing board is not all that sturdy and I like to put my iron down on its face instead of standing it up. I wish I would have purchased a plate though as I think it would have helped with the heat when its on its face.

I use a small craft iron and this was a regular size iron pad, so I just cut it down some. I works great on my craft table and keeping my mini iron from tipping over.

This mat does a nice job of providing a place to put your iron safely while rearranging fabric on your ironing board. You can set the iron flat for a quick moment instead of having to stand it up. A good addition to any ironing station.

I like the fact that I eliminated standing the iron on end. I have a torn rotater cuff and it does hurt when I sit it up on end. So great to have a great place to set it down flat without a worry of singing my ironing board cover. Very helpful.

Works for me i just wanted a mat to sit my iron on its heel on my board - and this is fine for me as i dont tend to put my iron down flat on the surface of the mat - stays sturdy on its heel on this mat as my old iron leaked onto my new cover so at least it will stop any marks going on the board
