I love this sweet perfume. Got it as a present for someone but will get some more for me lol. It definitely smells like the alien perfume! It is less strong than the alien but definitely functions great for the daily use. The bottle size is good for the price you are paying and I think it looks cute.

I worked at VS the summer of 2008 and they released Very Sexy Dare. It was a very mature scent that I liked and I don’t even know what happened to the bottle after all these years. I ordered a tube of it since it’s discontinued and hard to find. I have a teen now and she kept using it all 😭 I’ve been looking for something competed and reading all sorts of reviews and scent note profiles. Thierry Mugler or however you spell it has Alien which is supposed to be a similar scent note profile. When I was searching around on Amazon, this dupe popped up. I figured I’d take a chance and if I didn’t like it, I could find someone to gift it to. It’s now a favorite of mine. I love the magnetic cap, I love that it lasts, the bottle size is perfect and it smells amazing. It lasts on my skin or on my clothes. I sprayed it on a hoodie and fell asleep in the hoodie, still woke up smelling amazing. This smells like some authentic $100+ perfume without breaking the bank. It’s sophisticated and sexy, not sweet or fruity. One or two sprays is plenty!

Ambery Saffron: musky sweet. Pretty strong. Amazing though. Of all the dossier I have smelled, it’s my favorite and my boyfriend LOVES it ! Ambery Cedarwood: lighter when you smell straight from the bottle, but when you wear it pleasantly strong. Has lasted me all day. I’m not sure what the original Alien smells like- but this is definitely something someone will either love or hate. It’s mysterious musky. Not really sweet, not really masculine either. My coworker said it smelled like “old money” and very mature- but not like your grannies perfume. I love it. But I don’t think it’s for everyone! I think it’s more of a night/ date perfume.

First of all: great bottle size, great value for the money, excellent longevity. All of Dossier's scents that I've tried so far last and last and last and I was surprised at how far the bottle contents go. Like, I don't know if I'll ever run out, haha. But now, onto the review about the scent itself: If I were rating this scent on how much I liked it... I would honestly rate it lower. HOWEVER, I won't do that because it's not Dossier's fault or the perfume's fault, it's my own. The issue I have with this scent is that it is POWDERY — there's a distinctly 'baby powder' scent to it which I abhor, personally, and was not at all expecting upon reading the notes in it. I didn't read any reviews beforehand because I trusted Dossier (and still do, don't get me wrong) after buying their Fruity Magnolia as a dupe for Versace's Bright Crystal and it was SPOT ON and amazing. So I expected that THIS scent would be just as amazing based on the notes listed. The only note I wasn't familiar with was Heliotrope Flower... Which seems to have been my doing in. Heliotrope Flower, it seems, is what packs the powdery punch in this particular scent. As someone sensitive to smells I don't like, it makes this scent borderline unwearable. However, I'm stubborn and own up to my own mistakes so I didn't want to return it or rate it poorly and am determined to find some way to layer it in hopes of cutting through the powder smell. And to be fair, once it dries down some, the powdery smell is much less noticeable — it still comes and goes in waves which is a pain but if you ignore the powdery scent, it still has a lovely, bright, silky, fruity-woodsy scent. I just wish that somewhere in the information about the scent, it had mentioned SOMETHING about 'powdery.' If I had known, I would have opted for a different scent. That's the only reason I took off a star, so sorry.

Smells amazing. Clean, citrusy, a little vanilla and musk. It’s actually a gorgeous combination. Very warm so good for winter. The size of the bottle is bigger than I expected. It lasts a long time for me. Everyone’s chemistry is different.

I was so excited to try this perfume after hearing about it on YouTube. Turns out that the reviews were accurate as it relates to the smell. Love the smell! If you like sweet, warm and musky, this is for you. Why 3 stars then? It’s because the smell lasts no more than 5 minutes on me. Could it be just me? I thought maybe yes so I sprayed the cuff of my shirts….. no difference the smell faded almost immediately. Family couldn’t smell it on me either. I tried adding a neutral smelling oil as well as Vaseline… neither helped. For the price, the longevity was disappointing.

I cannot say enough about this perfume. I have gotten so many compliments when I wear this. I had someone follow me through a restaurant to ask me what scent I was wearing. Will definitely be buying again.

Holy crap this smells just like Alien! I’ve only recently gotten into perfumes, so I’ve spent time at Ulta and Sephora trying different scents. I zeroed in on Alien, but it’s so expensive!! I wasn’t sure if it was worth it, or if I even liked the scent that much. This brand is a perfect substitute. I only docked one star for longevity, but I have a few other pricier scents that aren’t any better, so there’s not a noticeable difference. I also think this brand is not as potent, but I’m okay with that. One reason I avoided perfumes for forever was because people always complain at work (which sucks…we are all back on-site for stupid reasons and breathing in putrid air from our coworkers on carpet that hasn’t been shampooed once in decades 🙄). At this point, this little bottle makes me so happy.

OMG .....It smells sooo amazinnnggg..and it last long. I personally don't like too strong perfume and this is the one for me, the price is affordable .I love it ..Thanks Dossier..
