These work great. I like the different sizes. I use the half circle ones the most. The magnets are stronger than other brands I have tried.

I had cauliflower ear forming and bought this set because I thought the magnets would fit in the inner part of the outer ear. They somewhat fit but I I don’t have huge ears. If you have smaller ears they may not work for that use. They worked well for use on my outer ear.

I am writing a review based on my experience as a critical care nurse of 10 years, and a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner of 6 years.Without magnets 🧲, you drain it, and it can re-swell within hours or just by exercise itself.Overall, the magnets have lessened the swelling, but, in hard sparring, without magnets, your ears can blow up and swell again. Thus,You do need access to needles and syringes (21,22 g with 1 cc syringes) to drain your ear. You can’t use this product by itself to decrease swelling. Maybe, in the future, Magnet RX could supply needles and syringes to either be included or bought. Like a needle syringe kit.Typically I will wear it 2 hours on, and 1-2 hours off.For sleeping I’ll wear it for as long as I can tolerate, then take it off. On average, I might need to drain and magnet in the morning, and re magnetize the ear. (I only had 1 cc of swelling from 6 hours of sleep).My experience: it will feel painful for the first 20-30 min, then be numb and it feels like you are wearing air pods or wireless bone conduction ear buds. After 2 hours I expect it to hurt again, and that’s when I take it off. They do have pressure reduction pads with the kit to help you desensitize yourself from the pressure. But I didn’t need to use them, because my ears have been used to the process over the years.Keep in mind, using this product depends on the timing as their are stages in how cauliflower ear develops.0-4 days: blood4-7 days: fluid7-10 days: calcification10-20 days: cartilageSo your overall results depend more on how soon you drain the ear.

My kit didn’t come with the pressure reduction disc. A lot of pain trying to keep compression. Sometimes felt it made the swelling worst. I appreciated the company trying to provide different shapes of magnets. Still didn’t accommodate the appropriate shape the ear. One of the hardest things to do is to take the magnets out of the portable case. It’s like you need something to help you getting them out.

The product arrived just as described and have multiple sizes as well. It’s a perfect fit for me.

I recommend using sterile gauze with Neosporin cream to lubricate the ear and lessen impact in a clean way. This also minimized the pain.It also helped me to pair a small magnet from behind the ear with the appropriate shaped magnet on the front side. This reduced the pain and still seemed to have a good effect.My experience: I had them on from the moment it was drained and kept them on for 11 days. I left it on most of the time only taking it off to briefly clean the area, dry and re-apply the gauze and magnets. It has not re-swollen and it is day 4 since removing the magnets.My ear is now mostly back to normal shape but there is a large scar on both sides--I suspect having large pieces on both sides was excessive which I did for the first ~5 days.Overall: I recommend this product. Much better than using the excessive headwrap applied by the nurse.

I bought it for someone. It was as described. This is for short term use because the magnetic is very strong and give pain according to the person.

The magnets arrived in a nice sturdy storage box and are of an excellent quality. These have just the right amount of pressure and stay in place without needing any additional fixing or risk of falling off.
