I'm afraid to jinx myself by writing this review, but I purchased this set in 2019 and now it is 2024 and these torches are still going strong. I don't take them in during our Northern Utah winters, and they keep on going. They have been so impressive! They look beautiful in our backyard and are great for ambience. I would not hesitate to purchase them again.

The media could not be loaded. My four-pack of Upgraded Gold Armour Solar Lights arrived in two days overly packaged inside three layers of boxes. Assembly is a no-brainer: shove the three plastic sections together, spike 'em into the ground and press the single "on/off" switch. You can verify the operation in the daytime by covering the top of the torch with your palm.After reading some posts, I expected them to be shorter, but these upgraded torches almost reach my waist (36") once spiked into the ground. The plastic poles themselves are kinda fragile for the length and I suspect brushing against one in sub-zero temperatures might shatter the pole. But if worst comes to worst I'll simply replace the hollow plastic tubes with aluminum or PVC from the hardware store.I don't see a way to replace the rechargeable battery without ripping apart the torch. But honestly, if they last a year or two I'll be satisfied because the lights themselves are spectacular, closely mimicking warm flickering flame.Even though the poles are kinda fragile and the battery isn't user-replaceable for long-term use, I'm going to go ahead and give these bad boys five stars just because they look so darn good!

I have bought these lights in multi packs three times and can't count the number of times my evening guests have asked for the company name and product name to buy their own. I like that they come on in the evening on their own and can be placed on stakes high, medium, or low.They are magical solar lights. Everyone mistakes them for real tiki torches; they are so realistic.They are intended for ambience but we also believe that they enhance our security because it looks like we are home because they are lit.I have trouble with one latern (out of many) and the company swiftly replaced it. Fantastic product and service.

Lights look great. Bought 2 sets for my backyard. They have stayed on all night, checked on them before I left for work early in the morning and they were still going strong. I only have 2 issues with them, if you have any kind of other lighting around them like I do (string lights) they will not come on. I cut out circles from the box they came in and spray painted them black so I could cover the sensor on top so they would come on when I needed them to, just be sure to take them off when your done so the can charge the next day. The other issue, the steaks they come with are kind of short. Wanted a few to be a little taller. It was a easy fix though, just went down and bought some 3/4 inch pvc pipe, cut to the length I wanted, painted it black and mounted the lights to that to make it taller. Very happy with my purshase.

We have a nice little patio that we love to light with Tiki torches. But it's such a pain to keep them filled and we like to have them lit even if we're not using the patio. So we've tried a few electric (pain with keeping the cords plugged in) and other options. None worked. So I bought a pair of these to give them a try....We love them! They look great! So we bought 4 more and really lit up the place. Our neighbors loved them, so we bought a set of 2 to give to them. Then my mom and uncle came to visit from the midwest and *they* loved them too! So we bought another dozen to send out to them!The charge nicely during the day, they come on a night without a problem. The flame-effect is realistic, and (so far) they've burned all night and are still on at 5am the next morning!

These torches are lifelike and stay lit until dawn. Very durable; you'll get a few years out of them. Only suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to improve the quality of the button. Although I leave mine "ON" until the torch eventually fails, I notice the buttons rot out early.

I researched various brands of "Solar Pathway Lights". I looked at all the "YouTube" video's as well as reading "Consumer Reports reviews. I carefully read through the Amazon reviews ( starting with all the negative ) BEFORE I made my decision to spend this much money on a solar light. I call these an investment in my peace of mind. They are breathtakingly beautiful and look like the real Tiki Torches I have always had in times gone by. I have neighbors who live across the hill from my property, and since putting these around my patio (HONESTLY)...I see the neighbors across the way gather to see the lights when the sun goes down. The flames are so realistic, the neighbors think I am grilling steaks ( YES, my neighbor actually made this comment to me )....

I loved the lights, but one of the four would not work. I had to send all back instead of replacing the bad one! And I bought during prime sale, but Amazon would not honor the sale price. So had to send all back and have not repurchased because of the price increase.
