They work great, but what's annoying is the hoses attach to the feet of the sleeves, so it's dang near impossible to set the pump next to you. I with the hoses attached up higher or that they were another foot longer.I like them - don't get me wrong, just frustrating every time I go to use them

Summary:I was between these and a set of NormaTec. I am glad I chose these and would choose them again. I can't wait to save up enough for the hip attachment.Why:I have always been into shorter races: Sprint triathlons, 5ks, 10ks, etc. This year I did my first ever marathon in preparation for my first 70.3 and 140.6 race. During marathon training and after the race I found my legs were not recovering as fast as I wanted. I started looking for another solution to turn my legs around faster.Rapid Reboot versus NormaTec (quality):The rapid reboot version 2 are identical quality to the NormaTec. I heard the first version was not, but I never handled them. However, I can tell you the version 2 set is of equal quality. The boots are durable and thick. The control unit is well organized and sleek. The control unit is quiet.Rapid Reboot versus NormaTec (ability):The rapid reboot have more than 2x the compression pressure than NormaTec. However I am convinced if you go over 120 mmHG you are either mad or Thor.Rapid Reboot versus NormaTec (controller):The NormaTec controller is smaller and has a battery. This was not a selling point for me. Anywhere I intend to use the unit there will be power. This benefit did not outweigh the other rapid reboot benefits. I have also read the battery on the NormaTec is very limited; it wasn't much of a selling point for me to begin with and this diminished it further. The NormaTec unit has bluetooth.....I'm a millennial and even I think this is absurd. You attached to the freaking controller why do you need bluetooth?Rapid Reboot versus NormaTec (price):Rapid reboot is $300 cheaper than NormaTec and actually ticked more boxes for me than the NormaTec.Customer service:I never worked with NormaTec customer service but I can tell you rapid reboot is world class. My ordered shipped next day. Showed up in two days. The unboxing experience is stellar. You fill out the warranty online where you pick a free hat or shirt. My hat showed up two days after I registered my warranty. My hat came with a hand written thank you card.You will only be disappointed if you don't have enough for the hip attachment right away!
