I liked that they have a soft thin fleece lining! They aren't too tight on my size 8.5 feet. I have a bed with a foot board that scrapes my nuckles if I try to tuck the covers under the bottom. I suffered from cold feet this winter. These do the job nicely. I also hate tight socks and these aren't tight. I'm so impressed with the inside softness and warmth I'll order another set of 3. I can't say if they would fit into shoes without taking up too much space because I use them for sleeping and in my loose slippers. They're very soft ,warm and comfy! Don't hesitate to purchase, you'll like them also!
