Gekors Ceramic Copper-free Bicycle Disc Brake Pads for Shimano/Tektro/TRP,1 Pair

I really like hydraulic disc brakes, but what I hate about them is they are prone to squeeling when it's dirty. I've been reading reviews and they all say different things. I started with Shimamo resins and they squeak quite quickly. Then moved to Clarks sintered (metallic) and as the reviews say metallic breaking force is great but there was this metal-on-metal noise (different to squeel) quite early on that got worse quickly. I decided to try ceramic after only 1 or 2 reviews mentioned it for bikes, the rest were for car brakes. The review says they are good for heat dissipation on long descents which isn't applicable for me. However I feel these ones have lasted a long time without squeeling, there was some squeel in the back wheel but unlike resins/sintered etc cleaning the disc with isopropanol seem to have solved it for longer.The initial bite didn't feel any longer than resins nor sintered. I'll quite likely be standardizing to these.

Just had my brake pads changed and goodnesa these feel good! So smooth and no noise. Very impressed.Let’s see how long they last.

They do what they are supposed to at the right price. I will buy again.

Doesn't come with a locking bar.... so can't fix it to bike.... £20 wasted... thanks
